She drove off the road, overcorrected and then skidded off the highway, rolling down an embankment. No charges were filed, and the teen received moderate injuries. Vandalism: Zeta reported two of the business’ windows were shot out or broken by a rock overnight. A similar incident occurred three weekends in April costing the business $7,000. The report was taken on June 2 at 10:42 a.m.

• A resident of Wright Avenue reported someone threw a bottle at the resident’s Volkswagen Jetta and dented the bumper of the Jetta. The resident thinks the suspect is his daughter’s boyfriend. The report was taken at 7:07 a.m. on June 6.

Grand theft: Warmington Homes reported someone stole several heavy duty extension cords and copper piping from a construction site. The report was taken on June 2 at 1:22 p.m.

• A generator was reported stolen overnight from the construction site of the Ford Dealership on Condit Road. The report was taken at 7:46 a.m. on June 4.

Identity theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported an employee at Target is using the resident’s Social Security number. The report was taken on June 2 at 10:57 a.m.

Auto burglary: A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported the resident’s Honda was broken into. A window was shattered, and a stereo and a vacuum were stolen. The report was taken on June 6 at 9:44 a.m.

• A resident of Creekside Village Townhomes reported the resident’s vehicle was broken into overnight. A stereo and backpack were stolen, and a window was shattered. The report was taken at 2:36 p.m. on June 6.

Threats: A Morgan Hill resident reported she is receiving threatening phone calls at her place of employment in Palo Alto. The suspect threatens to come to her home and kill her and her family. The report was taken on June 4 at 10:40 a.m.

Burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone has been living in her vacant apartment in Lindo Court. The resident said she found blankets, a candle and a used condom. The shower and the sink have apparently been used. The report was taken on June 2 at 12:38 p.m.

• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported his shed was broken into within the last few days. A side panel of the shed had been removed, and tools valued at $7,000 were stolen. The report was taken at 9:49 a.m. on June 3.

• A resident of Del Monte Avenue reported someone broken into the resident’s unlocked garage and took a compressor valued at $400. The report was taken on June 3 at 5:48 p.m.

• Unocal 76 gas station reported someone broke into the building, damaging a door. It was not clear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken at 5:13 a.m. on June 5.

• Dry Clean A+ reported the business was broken into overnight. A computer and money were taken. The report was taken on June 6 at 12:54 p.m.

• A resident of La Prenda Court reported a trailer belonging to Shadow Mountain Baptist Church, which she had driven to her residence, was broken into and $8,000 in equipment was taken. The report was taken at 8:40 p.m. on June 6.

Battery: A Morgan Hill resident told police his wife physically assaulted him the night before. He told police he still has “marks” from the attack, and that she jumped on him. The report was taken on June 2 at 8:41 p.m.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Church Street reported she was storing a motorcycle for a friend in her garage, and her boyfriend came to the residence and took the motorcycle, possibly heading to Gilroy. The report was taken on June 6 at 6:39 p.m.

Petty theft: Safeway reported a frequent shoplifter returned to the store and took $12 in merchandise, and this time the store wants to press charges. The report was taken on June 2 at 11:43 a.m.

• Safeway reported two males and one female stole soda and liquor from the store. The report was taken at 2:23 p.m. on June 2.

• A resident of Easy Street reported his mail was stolen from his mailbox the day before. The report was taken on June 3 at 5:34 a.m.

• Fred’s Foreign Auto Service reported four tires were stolen from the business. The report was taken at 2:41 p.m. on June 4.
