Auto burglary: A resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported someone broke into his GEO Prism and stole two pairs of boots. The report was taken on Jan. 14 at 4:39 a.m.
Trespassing: A resident of the Cochrane Village apartments reported her 14-year-old neighbor came into the resident’s apartment. He had a key to the apartment, but the resident does not know how he got the key. The report was taken on Jan. 2 at 6:23 p.m.
Threats: A resident of Helene Lane reported her ex-boyfriend violated a restraining order against him by harassing her. The report was taken on Jan. 9 at 10:52 a.m.
Burglary: Morgan Hill Tobacco was broken into overnight. The front window was shattered and cabinets were pushed over. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 6 at 6:40 a.m.
• Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported the office was broken into. It was not clear at the time of the report if anything was missing. The back door was left open. The report was taken at 11:44 a.m. on Jan. 9.
• Teddy Bear Laundry Mat reported someone broke into the business overnight and stole the change machine. The machine is valued at approximately $1,500 and contained approximately $700 in change. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
• Second Street Coffee House reported someone broke into the business overnight. The cash register was found on the floor, the money was stolen, and the side door was found unlocked. The report was taken at 6:02 a.m. on Jan. 21.
• A construction trailer at Calle Central and Lancia was broken into overnight and keys to an occupied residence built by the construction company were stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 22 at 7:31 a.m.
• A new home in the 100 block of Sage Avenue was broken into, and a dishwasher was stolen. The report was taken at 3:31 p.m. on Jan. 22.
• Goodwill of Santa Clara County reported the gated storage area behind the building was broken into overnight. The report was taken on Jan. 24 at 1:46 p.m.
• California Door company reported someone broke into the business overnight. A window was broken and cables to some of the computers were cut, but no items were stolen. The report was taken at 11:24 a.m. on Jan. 25.
• IICON reported an attempted break-in to the business. There were pry marks around the dead bolt of the rear doors, and keys would not work in the locks. The report was taken on Jan. 26 at 9:34 a.m.
• Western Technology Marketing reported someone broke into the rear machine shop area over the weekend, and several pieces of equipment were stolen. The report was taken at 10:56 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Vandalism: A resident of the 15300 block of La Mar Drive reported his house was hit with paintballs. The report was taken on Jan. 1 at 2:36 a.m.
• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported three teens with jackets and beanies just punched out the resident’s window. The report was taken at 3:55 a.m. on Jan. 1.
• Western Technology Marketing reported someone vandalized the business between Dec. 24 and Jan. 5. The report was taken at 3:16 p.m. on Jan. 5.
• A resident of the 17700 block of Hale Avenue reported two tires on his Nissan Sentra were slashed overnight. The report was taken on Jan. 7 at 9:24 a.m.
• A resident of Mira Bella Circle reported someone threw a large rock through the rear window of his Ford Expedition overnight. Nothing was stolen from the Expedition. The report was taken at 7:08 a.m. on Jan. 13.
• Someone threw a rock through the rear window of a Mitsubishi Gallant parked in the 16800 block of Gallop Drive overnight. Nothing was stolen from the Gallant. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 7:57 a.m.
• APM Custom Engines reported someone used an air gun to shoot out lights and windows at the business overnight. Nothing was stolen from the business. The report was taken at 9:24 a.m. on Jan. 13.
• The Water Outlet reported the vending machine outside the business was vandalized, but the suspect(s) were unable to get into the coin area. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 10:33 a.m.
• The owner of a Silverado truck reported the truck was “keyed” on the left fender and door while parked at the Johnson Lumber/Ace Hardware. The report was taken at 1:48 p.m. on Jan. 14.
Stolen vehicle: Morgan Hill Autobody reported a vehicle was loaned to someone who passed away; when an attempt was made to recover the vehicle, a GMC Jimmy, the vehicle had been taken by someone else. The report was taken on Jan. 14 at 1:57 p.m.
Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of Jasmine Way reported someone stole the left rear tire from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 2 at 6:16 a.m.
• The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle on La Mar Drive. The report was taken at 7:43 p.m. on Jan. 12.
• A resident of the 16700 block of San Luis Way reported her rear license plate was stolen from her vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 8:05 p.m.
• A resident of the Wright Avenue Apartments reported someone stole the rear license plate from his Toyota Camry. The report was taken at 3:28 p.m. on Jan. 14.
Embezzlement: A female suspect reportedly stole $2,200 in merchandise from Target. The report was taken on Jan. 5 at 1:50 p.m.
