Petty theft: A resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported someone stole tools from a tool box in the back of the resident’s truck. The report was taken on Jan. 7 at 9:38 a.m.

• Safeway reported a suspect stole beer and baby formula. The report was taken at 6:02 p.m. on Jan. 10.

• Three suspects stole items from outside the Goodwill Trailer parked in Tennant Station. The report was taken on Jan. 10 at 8:24 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his overcoat stolen and inside the coat was his wallet containing credit cards, identification and ATM card. The report was taken at 7:46 a.m. on Jan. 11.

• A resident of Oak View Circle reported mail stolen from the resident’s mailbox. Some of the mail was returned by a jogger. The report was taken on Jan. 12 at 3:37 p.m.

• A resident of La Crosse Village apartments reported her mail was stolen from her locked mailbox one and one half months ago. The report was taken at 12:38 p.m. on Jan. 13.

• A resident of Palomino Court reported a presser washer was stolen from his driveway. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 5:20 p.m.

• A resident of Scotts Bluff Drive reported that a package, valued at $100, that was delivered to the residence on Jan. 9 by UPS was stolen. The report was taken at 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 15.

• A cell phone was stolen from the desk of a Live Oak High teacher. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 10:43 a.m.

• Blockbuster Video reported three males came into the store and took 40 video games. The suspects were caught on video tape. The report was taken at 3:11 p.m. on Jan. 15.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported he found out someone was using his Social Security number when he was attempting to get a loan. The report was taken at 11:57 a.m. on Jan. 9.

• Blockbuster Video reported a counterfeit $20 bill was passed by a customer. The report was taken on Jan. 12 at 11:16 p.m.

• A Gilroy resident reported her stolen credit cards were used in Morgan Hill at a gas station. The report was taken at 8:52 a.m. on Jan. 15.

Battery: A resident of the 17000 block of Holiday Drive reported his ex-girlfriend kicked him in the head with her boot the night before. He told police he was having trouble hearing in one ear. The report was taken on Jan. 4 at 2:33 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported she went to her father’s residence to get some of her things, and her father threw her boxes at her. She told police her father hit her and threw her on the bed and threw her things around the room. The report was taken at 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 4.

• A Live Oak High student reported she would like to press charges of battery against another student, who is her ex-boyfriend or boyfriend, she’s not sure which. She told police the other student hit her in the face. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 11:02 a.m.

Auto burglary: An employee of Metro One Telecommunications reported someone broke the locks of his BMW while it was parked at the business. The report was taken at 6:37 a.m. on Jan. 3.

• A resident of the 16500 block of Trail drive reported someone broke into her Toyota Corolla overnight. The driver’s side window was shattered. The report was taken on Jan. 3 at 5:19 p.m.

• A resident of the 17800 block of Elaine Court reported his locked BMW was broken into overnight. The suspect(s) broke into the trunk and stole amplifiers. The report was taken at 7:43 a.m. on Jan. 4.

• A resident of the 15700 block of La Tierra Drive reported two vehicles at the residence were broken into overnight. The Lexus was not locked, but the Silverado truck was locked. A stereo was stolen from the truck. Another auto burglary was reported on Via Constana,. The report was taken on Jan. 4 at 8:18 a.m.

• A resident of Darnis Circle reported someone stole CDs and the vehicle paperwork from the resident’s Honda Accord. She did not know if the vehicle was locked. The report was taken at 9 a.m. on Jan. 4.

• A resident of the 1400 block of Fieldshire Way reported a DVD, Gameboy and two Gameboy games were stolen from his unlocked Lincoln Navigator. The report was taken on Jan. 4 at 11:06 a.m.

• A resident of the 2500 block of Magnolia Way reported his BMW was broken into overnight. Sunglasses, CDs and paperwork were stolen. The report was taken at 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 4.

• A resident of Terracina Apartments reported her Mazda Protege was broken into. A purse was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 6 at 8:50 a.m.

• A Live Oak High student reported his Honda Prelude was broken into while it was parked behind the school on Half Road. The driver’s side window was shattered. The report was taken at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 9.

• A resident of the Hacienda Mobile Home Estates reported someone broke the lock on the resident’s vehicle door and stole a tire iron. The report was taken on Jan. 11 at 3:57 p.m.

• A resident of the 15600 block of La Bella Court reported someone broke into the resident’s unlocked BMW and stole and emergency kit and other items. The suspect(s) also attempted to steal the stereo. The report was taken at 7:49 p.m. on Jan. 11.
