Auto burglary:

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her locked Saturn was broken into while parked at Speros Restaurant on Monterey Road the night before. A window of the Saturn was shattered, and the resident’s purse was stolen. The report was taken at 7:52am on Oct. 29.

• A resident of Wright Avenue reported someone broke into his locked Toyota Camry and stole part of his stereo. The report was taken on Oct. 29 at 11:20am.

• A Gilroy resident reported her Chevy Suburban was broken into while parked at the Community and Cultural Center at Monterey Road and Dunne Avenue. Her purse, valued at $600, was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 6:54pm on Oct. 29.

• A resident of Creekside Village Townhomes reported the resident’s Toyota Camry was broken into overnight. The Camry was possibly left unlocked. A tool bag with power tools inside was stolen. The report was taken on Oct. 30 at 3:49pm.

• A resident of the Village Avante Apartment Homes reported the resident’s Honda Accord was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and construction tools were stolen from the Honda. The report was taken at 8:20am on Oct. 31.

• An employee of Techon on Monterey Road reported her locked Lexus SUV was broken into while parked in the back parking lot. A window of the vehicle was shattered, and her purse and cell phone were stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 3 at 9:11pm.

• Best Western Country Inn on Condit Road reported a guest’s locked vehicle was broken into while in the inn’s parking lot overnight. A window of the vehicle was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 12:13pm on Nov. 7.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s locked vehicle was broken into overnight while parked in the 1600 block of East Dunne Avenue. The resident told police the vehicle had tools in it. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 8:22pm.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported that while she was in jail on Nov. 4, someone broke into her Honda Accord. The driver’s side window was shattered, and the resident’s purse was stolen. The resident told police the purse contained $500, approximately 15 credit cards, a checkbook and identification. The report was taken at 6:31pm on Nov. 9.

CHP

• A Gilroy woman suffered only minor injuries after her car rolled over several times on U.S. Highway 101 Sunday afternoon. Kathleen Miller, 31, was driving her 1995 Ford Aspire southbound in the far left lane, south of Coyote Creek Gold Drive, just after 3pm, when her right rear tire blew out. According to the California Highway Patrol, Miller’s speed and an unsafe turning movement caused her car to spin to the left, hit a raised asphalt curb and roll over several times into the dirt center divider. The Ford Aspire came to rest on its roof. Some passersby helped Miller from her car, and she was taken by ambulance to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, for treatment of abrasions and contusions.

• A San Jose bicyclist riding without a helmet suffered major head injuries after falling from his bike on Metcalf Road, north of Morgan Hill. Reyes Nicolas Raymundo, 26, was riding westbound on Metcalf, east of Monterey Road, when he rode off the right side of the road and went up an embankment, according to the CHP. Raymundo’s Light-Speed bike broke in half and overturned, and he landed on the paved road, hitting his head. He was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose.
