Robbery: A Morgan Hill resident reported a robbery and assault at the corner of Monterey and Central by three suspects, two with handguns and one with a metal bar. The report was taken on April 6 at 5:18 p.m.

Threats: A Morgan Hill resident came to the police station in the night to report her husband was threatening her, that there was an ongoing domestic abuse problem. She told police he threatened to physically harm her. The report was taken at 3:32 a.m. on April 8.

• A resident of the Carriage Drive Apartments reported he and his wife have been receiving death threats from the wife’s ex-husband and two sons. The ex-husband called and said he was in town looking for their address in order to kill them. The wife called the new wife in Oklahoma who said that the ex-husband and two sons went to a bar in Oklahoma the day before and never returned. The report was taken on April 12 at 7:42 p.m.

Burglary: Someone from the Las Palmas restaurant reported someone attempted to break into the restaurant by breaking the lock to the back door. The report was taken on April 9 at 9:33 a.m.

• A resident of Leptis Circle reported she came home from work to find her home had been ransacked. She wasn’t sure at the time of the report what items were missing from the residence. The report was taken at 4:49 p.m. on April 11.

Vandalism: A resident of Ciolino Avenue reported someone broke the rear window of his vehicle overnight. The report was taken on April 7 at 9:06 a.m.

• The owner of a business on Butterfield Blvd. reported someone shattered one of the business’ windows over the weekend. The report was taken at 9:44 a.m. on April 7.

• A resident of the 16400 block of Jackson Oaks Drive reported someone ran over his mailbox overnight. The mailbox was worth $35. The report was taken on April 11 at 9:18 a.m.

• An employee of Specialized Bicycles reported a Honda Accord was broken into while it was in the parking lot. The rear window was shattered but nothing was stolen. The report was taken at 5:52 p.m. on April 13.

• A resident of the 15600 block of Sunnyside Avenue reported someone shot out the rear security light overnight, apparently with a BB gun. The report was taken on April 15 at 6:14 a.m.

• The owner of a business on Butterfield Boulevard reported several windows of the business were shot out with pellets. This occurred on April 4, April 12 and April 14. The report was taken at 8:29 a.m. on April 15.

Tampering with a vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole the rear license plate from the resident’s Chevy Avalanche. The report was taken on April 8 at 12:29 p.m.

• An employee of Community Lending reported someone took the rear license plate from the employee’s Suburban and replaced it with a license plate from a vehicle used in a drive-by shooting in Sacramento. The report was taken at 1:24 p.m. on April 8.

• A resident of Hidden Meadows apartments reported someone took the tabs from the rear license plate of her Olds Cutlass. The report was taken on April 14 at 10:14 a.m.

Battery: A resident of the Wright Avenue Apartments reported a female was being beaten by her boyfriend. The boyfriend allegedly hit her with a board, and she allegedly threatened him with a knife. The report was taken on April 7 at 7:50 p.m.

• An employee of the Nob Hill Foods reported while he was on break a male came into the store and pushed the employee, threatened the employee and told him not to interact with his wife, who is also a Nob Hill employee. The report was taken at 12:03 p.m. on April 8.

• An employee of the Payless Shoes reported a male came into the store and walked to the rear of the store. When the employee went back to see if he needed help, the male grabbed her and pulled her towards him and patted her buttocks. The employee was able to pull away and call police. The report was taken on April 11 at 10:22 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her friend called her and the resident could hear the friend’s boyfriend beating her up. The resident said her friend and the boyfriend have a history of domestic violence. The report was taken at 12:50 a.m. on April 12.

• A resident of Calle Mazatan reported she and her husband were in a verbal argument when she went to get her bag to leave the residence. Her husband pushed her when she attempted to leave, then her husband left the residence. The report was taken on April 12 at 8:21 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident called police from a payphone to report her boyfriend hit her. The resident was very upset and told police she wanted the boyfriend arrested so he would stay away from her for the night. The report was taken at 9:51 p.m. on April 12.

Auto burglary: A resident of Bender Circle reported someone broke into the resident’s vehicle the week before and stole the stereo. The resident told police there was no evidence of how entry was made and was not sure if the vehicle was locked or not. The report was taken on April 8 at 9:09 a.m.

• A resident of the 17200 block of Bender Circle reported someone broke into his locked Toyota Celica overnight and stole his stereo equipment. The back hatch had been popped open. The report was taken at 8:29 a.m. on April 12.

• A downtown merchant reported a customer’s Mustang was broken into while parked in the parking lot between First and Second Streets. The rear window was shattered and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on April 14 at 5:09 p.m.

Fraud: The manager of the Check and Cash reported a female attempted to pass a bad check. The manager gave police all her information and a vehicle description. The report was taken on April 6 at 1:53 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported he left his ATM card at the McDonald’s on Condit and someone stole it and used it at a store in the Cochrane Plaza. The report was taken at 1:25 p.m. on April 8.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s Mervyn’s credit card was mailed to the wrong apartment number, and the female who lives in the apartment the card was mailed to has charged $1,100 worth of merchandise with the resident’s card. The report was taken on April 9 at 2:22 p.m.

• An employee of the 7-11 store reported someone gave him a counterfeit $10 bill. The report was taken at 3:33 p.m. on April 11.

• An employee of Facial Expressions reported she had two checks that were written on a closed account. The report was taken on April 15 at 10:47 a.m.

• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported someone has been using his Social Security number. He received a letter from the IRS stating he owes $22,000 in back taxes, and he never worked for the company that is listed. He contacted the company and was told that his Social Security number was used by an employee that worked for them for three years. The report was taken at 2:12 p.m. on April 15.

Grand theft: An employee of the South County Chevrolet reported when he came to the lot in the morning he found one of the used trucks up on blocks. Someone stole all four tires and rims, worth approximately $1,000, from the Chevy pickup. The report was taken on April 14 at 8:15 p.m.

Petty theft: An employee of the Ultramar reported two males stole an 18-pack of beer. The employee later called police back to report she was contacted by paper delivery person who reported the same individuals were taking papers as they were delivered to residences. The report was taken on April 7 at 3:36 a.m. and 5:26 a.m.

• A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported someone siphoned gas from her vehicle. The report was taken at 8:56 a.m. on April 7.

• An employee of the Safeway reported two juveniles stole a few bottles of liquor from the store. The report was taken on April 7 at 3:33 p.m.

• An employee of the Rite Aid reported a male stole an 18-pack of beer. The report was taken at 3:20 p.m. on April 8.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen yesterday while she was at the Coffee Roasting Club. The report was taken on April 10 at 11:52 a.m.

• A Live Oak High student reported her back pack was stolen from school. She told police her books and binder were recovered but not her cell phone. The report was taken at 6:27 p.m. on April 11.

• An employee of the Blockbuster Video reported a male ran out of the store with several new DVD’s. The report was taken on April 12 at 3:29 p.m.

• An employee of Abbott Labs reported someone stole at least three pallets from the back of the business. The report was taken at 5:28 a.m. on April 14.

• A Live Oak High student reported the student’s cell phone was stolen while at school the day before. The report was taken on April 15 at 8:45 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen while she was at the Post Office. The report was taken at 4:58 p.m. on April 15.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a male stole her wallet, which contained credit cards and $20, while she was in the Nob Hill Foods. The report was taken on April 16 at 1:31 p.m.
