MORGAN HILL POLICE
Threats: A resident of Castle Lake Drive reported someone has been ringing the bell on the gate to the residence in the middle of the night. When it happened the night before, her husband went out to try and catch the subjects but was unable to. They then found a threatening letter with “obscene” pictures on it attached to the gate. The report was taken on Jan. 1 at 5:17 p.m.
Burglary: A resident of Edmundson Avenue reported someone broke into his home on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day and stole a Playstation. He told police he had been having difficulties with his daughter entereing the home and stealing things to sell for her drug problem, and he suspects this is another incident of that. The report was taken on Jan. 2 at 3:45 p.m.
• An employee of the Central Coast Nursery reported that someone had cut the chain to the back fence overnight and moved items around in the back area. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything had been stolen. The report was taken at 2:02 p.m. on Jan. 5.
