Drugs suspected
• A San Jose Police officer with his drug-sniffing dog searched
the boys and girls locker rooms Thursday at Martin Murphy Middle
School. No drugs were found. The officer, who is a school resource
officer, was asked after administrators received a tip that
marijuana was to be distributed on campus
that day during lunch. No students were in the locker room when
the search was conducted. Fraud: •The Wells Fargo Bank inside the
Safeway on East Dunne Avenue reported someone attempted to cash a
check with a false ID. The report was taken at 9:18am on Jan.
