MORGAN HILL POLICE
Battery: A 23-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, destroying a phone line and vandalism. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 4:29 p.m.
• A 33-year-old San Benito female was cited and released on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence. The report was taken at 12:12 p.m. on Nov. 10.
• Gary L. Shay, 41, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with battery. He also had an outstanding warrant. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 7:56 p.m.
• A 23-year-old San Jose male was taken to county jail charged with domestic battery. The report was taken at 8:23 p.m. on Nov. 20.
Arrests and citations: Lorraine M. Viera, 35, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with vandalism after she allegedly “keyed” a truck belonging to her ex-boyfriend. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 7:39 p.m.
• Victor Mateo, 26, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with resisting or delaying a police officer and attempted petty theft after an incident at Blockbuster Video. The report was taken at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
• Samuel P. Rowles, 26, of Mountain View was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 6:21 p.m.
• Phil H. Picardel, Jr., 36, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with driving on a suspended license. The report was taken at 12:04 p.m. on Nov. 13.
• Two Morgan Hill females, one age 13 and one age 15, were cited and released charged with vandalism for destruction of mail. The report was taken on Nov. 14 at 8:07 p.m.
• A 17-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released charged with resisting or delaying an officer. The report was taken at 8:40 p.m. on Nov. 16.
• Gonzalo C. Esquivel, 23, of Hollister was cited and released charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale and resisting an officer. He also had two outstanding warrants. In the same incident, Joseph S. Prado, 22, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with driving on a suspended license and with no insurance. The report was taken on Nov. 18 at 12:01 a.m.
• Michael A. McNeely, 55, a transient, was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 1:38 a.m. on Nov. 25.
Arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: Michelle L. Whiteman, 23, of Gilroy was taken to county jail. She was also charged with possession of paraphernalia and obstructing an officer. In the same incident, which occurred at the Economy Inn, Anthony R. Gonzalez, 22, of Gilroy was cited and released charged with giving false information and possession of a chemical agent, and he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. The report was taken on Nov. 8 at 5:48 a.m.
