Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of Berry Court reported both license plates were stolen from her Grand Prix. The report was taken on May 5 at 11:06 a.m.
Auto burglary: A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported someone broke into the resident’s locked Honda Civic and stole the stereo, speakers and other items. The report was taken on May 5 at 6:07 a.m.
• A resident of Montoya Circle reported his wallet, checkbook and DVD player were stolen from his locked Yukon. The report was taken at 2:44 p.m. on May 5.
• A resident of Kelly Park Circle reported her vehicle was broken into overnight and her CD player, speakers, CDs, car registration and insurance were stolen. The report was taken on May 7 at 9:11 a.m.
• A resident of Darnis Circle reported her car stereo was stolen from her unlocked Mitsubishi Mirage. The report was taken at 9:55 a.m. on May 7.
Threats: A resident of the 16800 block of Gallop Drive reported her ex-daughter-in-law is harassing her over the phone and threatening to torture and kill her. The report was taken on May 6 at 8:28 a.m.
Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported her son told her he was “jumped” by five juveniles across the street from El Toro Elementary. The report was taken on May 5 at 2:32 p.m.
• Live Oak High reported a fight between two students resulted in a broken nose for one of them. The report was taken at 10:34 a.m. on May 6.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her husband got angry and threw her to the floor, injuring her shoulder. The report was taken on May 7 at 7:03 p.m.
Arrests and citations: Rosemary Chan, 43, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with petty theft and burglary. The report was taken on April 15 at 5:51 p.m.
• Cecilia R. Aragon, 21, of Daly City was cited and released charged with petty theft. The report was taken at 5:38 p.m. on April 18.
• A 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, both from Morgan Hill, were cited and released charged with fighting in public after an incident at Britton Middle School. The report was taken on April 20 at 9:44 a.m.
Arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: Rebecca O. Elliot, 18, of San Jose was cited and released. The report was taken on April 19 at 8:59 p.m.
Trespassing: A resident of Leslie Court reported someone is coming on her property and turning off the water to her pond. The report was taken on May 5 at 1:20 p.m.
Child abuse: Child Protective Services reported physical abuse of a child who is kicked by her mother and left home alone. The report was taken on May 7 at 2:44 p.m.
Vandalism: Mervyn’s reported someone spray-painted one of store’s delivery trucks. The report was taken on May 6 at 11:34 a.m.
• B and J Precision Sheet Metal reported the company building was spray-painted between 2 a.m. and noon. The report was taken at 12:28 p.m. on May 6.
Stolen vehicle: San Pedro Self Storage reported a Penske car carrier trailer stolen from the premises on April 25 or 26. The report was taken on April 27 at 8:25 a.m.
• A car carrier that was left parked on the street three days earlier at Young’s Market was stolen. The report was taken at 4 p.m. on April 29.
• A Ford Ranger was stolen from the parking lot of the El Capri restaurant. The report was taken on May 7 at 9:17 a.m.
Petty theft: A resident of the 100 block of Lindo Lane reported the cat trap that was loaned to the resident by Animal Control was stolen from her backyard. The report was taken on April 25 at 4:29 p.m.
• A resident of the 900 block of Oak Park Drive reported solar lights were stolen from her front yard on April 23. The report was taken at 10:58 a.m. on April 26.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported he left his lawnmower and yard tools at a residence in the 16500 block of San Ramon Drive and someone stole them between March 1 and May 5. The report was taken on May 5 at 8:53 a.m.
• Bargain Hunters reported a purse was stolen from the counter by two juveniles. The report was taken at 11:08 a.m. on May 7.
• Sinaloa Cafe reported a customer “dined and dashed.” The report was taken on May 7 at 8:24 p.m.
