Burglary: A dentist’s office on West Dunne Avenue was broken into overnight. It was not clear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. Entry was apparently made through a window. The report was taken on June 7 at 10:54 a.m.

• Jane’s Utopia reported someone entered the business through a window and stole several items. The report was taken on June 11 at 8:55 a.m.

• Em Tec reported someone attempted to break into the lot where vehicles are kept over the weekend. The lock had been drilled, and an attempt was made to saw through the lock. The report was taken at 7:29 a.m. on June 14.

• Morgan Hill Foods reported someone broke in through the rear door overnight and stole money from the business. The report was taken on June 15 at 8:10 a.m.

Battery: The parent of a child from the James Holden Boys’ Ranch reported the child was hit in the face by an unknown object. She told police she was upset the incident was not reported and her son did not receive medical treatment. The report was taken on June 11 at 9:40 p.m.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of the 1400 block of Jasmine Way reported the resident’s Chevy pickup was stolen. The report was taken on June 10 at 7:20 a.m.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported his wife’s wallet was stolen from the back of a baby stroller in Target at approximately 7 p.m. The report was taken on June 12 at 11:12 p.m.

• A Fresno County probation officer reported her purse was stolen from the lobby of the Best Western Country Inn. Two badges were in the purse. The report was taken at 10:41 a.m. on June 13.

• Kragen Auto Parts reported a shoplifter stole a $60 air filter. The report was taken on June 13 at 5:23 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her driver’s license and ATM card were stolen from her purse while she was at Community Park. The report was taken at 7:56 p.m. on June 14.

SHERIFF

Vandalism: Somebody maliciously damaged a resident’s vehicle while it was in a driveway between 10 p.m. June 13 and 6 a.m. June 14. The vandalism of the 2002 Chevy truck was reported at 6 a.m. June 14.

• Somebody vandalized a water vending machine, a damage of about $200, at 76 Gas Station and stole $100 in $1 bills, as reported at 11:45 a.m. June 22.

• Someone drove a tractor over several fences and a corral on the south end of a ranch, causing a damage of more than $400, between June 19 and 21, as reported at 11:05 a.m. June 21.

Theft: Somebody entered a residential garage in Morgan Hill and stole an ATV and various items, valued at approximately $11,870, between June 6 and 10.

• Someone stole a maroon 1999 Ford Expedition SUV from a victim in Morgan Hill at about 9:15 p.m. on June 9.

• Someone stole a DVD player and projector, worth about $1,140, from inside a residence between June 19-21.

• Somebody stole a cattle fence, worth about $7,500, from a property at Twin Falls and Casa Loma roads in Morgan Hill between June 14-17, as reported at 9:15 a.m. June 21.

• Somebody used a tractor to steal a 2000 yellow John Deer 210 front loader between June 18 and 21, as reported at 9 a.m. June 21.

• Someone used a resident’s social security number to fraudulently identify his/herself for employment, as reported at 6:20 p.m. June 22.

• Somebody stole a Craftsman wood chipper from a property between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. June 21, as reported at 11:30 a.m. June 23.

• Someone took a Winchester rifle worth about $5,163 from a resident between Nov. 13, 2002 and Dec. 13, 2002. The gun theft was reported at 3:45 p.m. June 24.

• Christina Louise Delucchi, 39, of Santa Cruz, was arrested at Rapazzini Winery, 4350 Monterey Highway at Highway 25, on suspicion of attempted vehicle theft. Allegedly, Delucchi tried to take a 2003 Hummer H2 after seeing it was unlocked with the keys inside.

• Somebody stole $200 in cash and a $1,300 check between 4:30 p.m. June 24 and 6:30 a.m. June 25 from a residence, as reported at 11 a.m. June 25.

• Someone stole a light blue, 1988 Toyota SR5 pickup which was parked at Gilroy Hot Springs between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26. The vehicle’s keys were left inside the unlocked vehicle. The theft was reported at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, June 26.

• Somebody entered an open and unlocked trunk of a 1999 Ford Contour and stole a purse with various items worth less than $400. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. Saturday, June 26 and 7 a.m. Sunday, June 27, as reported at 8:25 a.m. June 27.

Burglary: Somebody broke the window of a residence with a hammer and stole a curling iron between 10:45 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. June 7. The report was taken at 4:30 p.m. on June 7.

• Someone stole 2 BB guns, a paintball gun, CO2 container and CDs from an office located in a resident’s garage between 11 p.m. on June 9 and June 10 at 6:30 a.m. The items were valued at approximately $450.

• Someone driving a light-blue, four-door sedan burglarized a residence in Gilroy between 10 and 10:50 a.m. Thursday, June 24. The victim saw the vehicle leave her driveway as she was returning from walking her dog and discovered various items missing, including a DVD player and a digital camera worth about $800.
