Battery: A 33-year-old Morgan Hill female was taken to county jail charged with assault with a deadly weapon (knife) and domestic violence. The report was taken on Sept. 13 at 10:33 p.m.

• A 34-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with domestic violence. The report was taken at 9:42 p.m. on Sept. 15.

• A 39-year-old Oakland female was taken to county jail charged with spousal abuse. The report was taken on Sept. 16 at 12:49 a.m.

• A 32-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with inflicting corporal injury to a child. The report was taken at 7:50 p.m. on Sept. 17.

Arrests and citations: A 15-year-old Morgan Hill female and a 16-year-old Morgan Hill male were cited and released for possession of marijuana. The incident occurred at Live Oak High. The report was taken at 11:39 a.m. on Sept. 4.

• Douglas W. Lefiell, 63, a Morgan Hill transient was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Sept. 4 at 1:34 p.m.

• June B. Rojas, 34, of Morgan Hill was cited and released in a neighborhood disagreement charged with vandalism of less than $1,000. The report was taken at 4:36 p.m. on Sept. 5.

• Two 15-year-old males, one from Morgan Hill and one from San Jose, were cited and released for fighting on school grounds at Live Oak High. The report was taken on Sept. 8 at 2:21 p.m.

• A 17-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released for possession of marijuana on school grounds. The incident occurred at Live Oak High. The report was taken at 12:06 p.m. on Sept. 9.

• A 17-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released for possession of marijuana on school grounds. The incident occurred at Live Oak High. The report was taken on Sept. 9 at 12:42 p.m.

• Gregory C. Zameron, 28, of Gilroy was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 1:27 a.m. on Sept. 11.

• A 21-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with committing a lewd act with a child under age 14 and sending harmful matter to a minor. The report was taken on Sept. 11 at 2:57 p.m.

• Miguel Rubio, 22 of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with assault, resisting arrest and petty theft. The report was taken at 8:54 p.m. on Sept. 12.

• Crystal Mellen, 18, of Morgan Hill and Janelle N. Cordero, 18, of Morgan Hill were cited and released charged with petty theft after an incident at Safeway grocery store. The report was taken on Sept. 15 at 11:14 p.m.

• A 15-year-old Morgan Hill male and a 13-year-old San Martin male were cited and released charged with receiving or concealing stolen property. The report was taken at 9:25 a.m. on Sept. 17.

• Eva R. Garcia, 37, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with petty theft after an incident at Mervyns. The report was taken on Sept. 17 at 12:10 p.m.

• A 16-year-old Morgan Hill male and a 16-year-old San Martin male were cited and released charged with fighting in public after an incident at Live Oak High. The report was taken at 12:03 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: Guadelupe Espinoza, 36, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail. He also had an outstanding warrant. The report was taken at 8:47 p.m. on Sept. 11.

Arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence: Juan Diaz, 46, of Utah was cited and released. He was also charged with hit and run and driving without a license. The report was taken on Sept. 14 at 1:50 a.m.

Grand theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported that eight checks for bills, totaling more than $1,000, were mailed in a postal box that was vandalized on Sept. 1, and now the checks are missing. The report was taken on Sept. 25 at 11:27 a.m.

• A lawn mower, leaf blower, edger, hedge trimmer, ladder and miscellaneous tools valued at $2,500 were stolen from a trailer parked at a lot on San Pedro Avenue. The report was taken at 11:43 a.m. on Sept. 26.

Petty theft: A resident of the 16700 block of Gallop Drive reported his mail stolen from his mailbox the day before. The report was taken on Sept. 24 at 2:35 p.m.

• A resident of Almond Way reported a leaf blower valued at $300 was left underneath a truck at the residence and was stolen. The report was taken at 9:26 a.m. on Sept. 25.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen from her shopping cart while she shopped at Albertson’s grocery store. The purse contained identification and credit cards. The report was taken on Sept. 26 at 12:02 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was stolen from the Super Taqueria after she left it near the soda machine and walked away. The wallet contained identification, credit cards and approximately $40 in cash. The report was taken at 12:48 p.m. on Sept. 26.
