Vandalism:

• Carden Academy on Llagas Road reported the school sign was damaged, possibly during the winter holidays. The report was taken on Jan. 5 at 1:11pm.

• Molly Maids on Monterey Road reported three of the business’ vehicles had flat tires. The vehicles were parked at the business at 4:30pm the day before, and the damage was noticed at 5:45am. The report was taken at 6:14am on Jan. 6.

• A resident of the 2400 block of Fountain Oaks Drive reported the garage light was shattered overnight. The report was taken on Jan. 6 at 9:26am.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s Chevy pickup was damaged while parked at Watsonville Road and Sunnyside Avenue on Jan. 5. The driver’s side door was scraped, the resident told police. The report was taken at 11:55am on Jan. 6.

Auto burglary:

• A Chevy Malibu parked at the Deja Vu Salon was broken into. A window was shattered, and a breastpump and case were stolen. The victim told police the thief may have thought the case containing the breastpump was a purse. The report was taken on Jan. 4 at 8:16pm.

Stolen vehicle:

• A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported the resident’s Saturn was stolen. The resident told police the resident was “warming up” the vehicle. The keychain in the ignition also held keys to the resident’s other vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 6 at 6:33am.

• A resident of Berry Court reported his Honda Civic was stolen approximately three weeks earlier. The resident told police he was out of town and was told by a neighbor that the vehicle had been told. The resident added that the vehicle did not run, so it would have had to have been towed. The report was taken at 2:10pm on Jan. 6.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a tractor/trailer rig was parked at Concord Circle and Vineyard Boulevard overnight, and someone unhooked the trailer and stole the tractor cab of the rig. The report was taken on Jan. 10 at 12:08pm.

Petty theft:

• A resident of Warren Avenue reported he left a folder of documents near his car that was parked in a carport, and when he returned for the documents, they were gone. The report was taken on Jan. 6 at 1:31pm.
