Sketch of attempted kidnapper

A 15-year-old boy reported to local authorities that he was the victim of an attempted kidnapping, according to a Morgan Hill Police Department Facebook post.
The alleged incident took place at about 3:15pm May 10 while the student was walking home from Ann Sobrato High School, which is located at 401 Burnett Avenue.
Police were notified the next day May 11 and are investigating, according to the post.
“As he was walking westbound on Burnett Avenue on the south side of the street, he was approached from behind by an adult male,” according to police. “The male grabbed the juvenile, but the juvenile was able to fight off the assailant and ran to a nearby relative’s house.”
The male perpetrator was reported to be Caucasian, light skinned, about 6’4” tall with wavy hair and a thin-build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and may have been associated to a black mid-2000’s Ford sedan which had been parked on the street, nearby, according to police.
Police encourage anyone who may have additional information related to this incident to contact Detective Kathleen Price (669) 253-4985 or the anonymous tip line (408) 947-STOP (7867).
