Morgan Hill Police responded to the intersection of Monterey Road and Tennant Avenue about 8:51pm July 30, following reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Officers and emergency medical personnel immediately provided life-saving aid to the pedestrian before they were transported to a local trauma center, MHPD said in a press release. The pedestrian is in stable condition.
The Morgan Hill Police Department continues to investigate the collision. It is currently unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors, police said.
“The Morgan Hill Police Department reminds all motorists to remain alert, obey traffic laws, and exercise extra caution when approaching intersections, changing lanes and traveling in areas where pedestrians may be present,” MHPD said in a press release.
