Ladder, planters stolen from home

A woman reported a ladder worth about $200 and some planters worth about $25 each stolen from her residence on Alamo Drive. The theft happened either late Sunday night or early Monday morning.

Man reports identity theft

A man reported when he tried to log onto his online bank account site with South Valley Bank, he was locked out. Someone at the bank told him that a third person called earlier with all the account holder’s information, and changed the information for the account. The crime was reported 4:26 p.m. Monday.

Suspected drunk driver crashes into telephone pole

A silver Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into a utility pole and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The accident happened on Santa Teresa Boulevard, south of Watsonville Road, and was reported by a passing motorist. The driver, Mitchell Herrera, 31, was uninjured but was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was cited and released from the Morgan Hill Police Station. The accident was reported about 7:30 p.m. March 19.

Computers stolen from Wal-Mart

A number of suspects stole a Dell computer from Wal-Mart at 170 Cochrane Plaza, and returned later that day to steal an HP computer. When the suspects left the store following the second theft, about 8:20 p.m. March 19, employees saw them leave in a white Dodge Durango and gave police the vehicle’s license number. Surveillance video cameras at the store recorded the incident.

Wheels stolen off truck at Ford Store

Four tires and rims were stolen off a new Ford truck in the lot of the Ford Store, 17045 Condit Rd. The stolen items are worth about $1,400. The crime was reported about 8:40 a.m. March 22.
