A female student at Britton Middle School, 80 W. Central Ave., sent inappropriate videos to other students. Police investigated and forwarded the case to the District Attorney’s office for review. The incident was reported 2:50pm Oct. 25.

Grand theft

A thief or thieves broke into a Dodge pickup, parked on Condit Road, and stole about $4,000 worth of tools. Also stolen from the vehicle were two laptop computers, a cell phone and other items. The crime was reported 7:39am Oct. 27.

Three suspects entered Target, 1061 Cochrane Road, and stole about $1,700 worth of merchandise. The crime was reported 7:30pm Oct. 29.

Battery

An Uber driver was assaulted by up to four people outside the M&H Tavern, 17365 Monterey Road. The crime was reported 12:52am Oct. 28.

Auto burglary

A suspect or suspects broke into a silver 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup but did not steal anything. The crime was reported 1:36pm Oct. 30 on East Second Street.

Someone broke into a Mitsubishi parked on Butterfield Boulevard and stole about $5 worth of quarters, beach blankets, a vehicle emergency kit, engine oil can and clothing—all worth about $300. The crime was reported 4:13pm Oct. 30.

A burglar or burglars smashed the front window of a GMC Yukon and stole a purse containing two wallets, ID cards and $100 in cash. The vehicle was parked on the 400 block of East Main Avenue. The crime was reported 11:37am Nov. 1.

Someone broke into a Cadillac Escalade on Church Street and stole a wallet. The crime was reported 12:31am Nov. 2.

Vandalism

Someone slashed the tires on a vehicle parked on Monterey Road. The vandalism was reported 1:31pm Oct. 31.

Embezzlement

An employee of Walmart, at Cochrane Plaza, was caught stealing money from the store. The crime was reported 2:38pm Nov. 1.

Lost property

A woman lost her wallet at the Safeway gas station near Tennant Avenue and Monterey Road. The wallet contained a driver’s license, student ID card, medical insurance card and other items. The loss was reported 4:44pm Oct. 25.

Petty theft

Two female suspects in their 30s stole about $86 worth of merchandise from the Spirit Halloween store, 140 Cochrane Plaza. The theft was reported 1:39pm Oct. 28.

A female adult stole a bag full of items from Hobby Lobby, 990 Cochrane Road. The suspect drove away in a white Volkswagen Beetle with a black soft top. The woman has allegedly stolen from the store previously. The latest incident was reported 12:25pm Oct. 29.

Someone stole about $175 worth of merchandise from Target, 1061 Cochrane Road. The theft was reported 3:21pm Oct. 3.

Oversized vehicle parking

A large camp trailer with expired tags was parked on Lone Hill Drive for more than a week. Police responded and tagged the vehicle for abatement. The violation was reported 1:18pm Oct. 18.

Grand theft

Someone stole a Santa Cruz mountain bike worth about $6,000 from a residence on Serene Drive. The crime was reported 8:53am Oct. 10.

Disturbance

A caller complained about people playing loud music near the large oak tree next to Huntington Station on East Third Street. The disturbance was reported 11:54pm Oct. 8.

Hit and run

A white GMC Yukon collided with a white 2013 Audi at the intersection of East Main Avenue and Hill Road, then the Yukon fled the scene. The collision was reported 6:43pm Oct. 5.

Stolen vehicle

Someone stole a white Honda Accord from a spot on Del Monte Avenue. The theft was reported 2:54pm Oct. 31. The vehicle was later located by police in San Jose.

A blue 1997 Honda Civic was stolen from a spot on Wright Avenue. The vehicle was later recovered in Milpitas. The theft was reported 10:41pm Oct. 30.

A thief or thieves stole a black 1998 Honda Civic from a spot on Ciolino Avenue. The theft was reported 9:28pm Oct. 5.
