Animal control
A pit bull dog on the 15200 block of La Alameda Drive attacked a neighbor’s son and dog. The victimized dog was bleeding from the neck. Police responded and reported the owner of the pit bull could not provide proof the dog was licensed. The attack was reported 11:02 p.m. March 30.
Stolen vehicle
Someone stole a black 1998 Honda Civic from the 100 block of Cosmo Avenue. The crime was reported 5:55 a.m. April 1.
Hit and run
The driver of a white Mercedes fled the scene of an accident on foot after the vehicle crashed into a Volkswagen Jetta near Watsonville Road and Pratola Court. The accident was reported 2:10 p.m. April 1.
Accident
A gray Audi Q5 and a white Nissan Altima collided in a traffic accident at Tennant Avenue and Church Street. No injuries were reported. The accident was reported 2:09 p.m. April 1.
Burglary
A thief or thieves broke into a home on Encino Drive. The homeowner returned home to find the back door and window open, and a screen missing from a window. The resident noticed two computers were missing before proceeding further into the home. The crime was reported 2:49 p.m. April 3.
A witness reported a home on Nutmeg Drive was burglarized after noticing the front door of the residence was wide open with nobody home. The crime was reported 8:45 p.m. April 4.
Vehicle abatement
A blue Dodge Caravan was parked outside a residence on West Main Avenue for a month without moving, with a blown tire. The vehicle was reported 4:16 p.m. April 3.
Oversized vehicle
A motorhome was parked at Grey Ghost Court and Olive Avenue for several weeks. A witness reported it appeared people were living in the motorhome. The vehicle was reported 8:20 a.m. April 4.
Theft
A victim met with two women and a man who stole his wallet more than a month ago in San Jose, on an agreement to buy his ID back from the thieves. However, the thieves took his money and did not give back his ID. The victim met with the suspects at Morgan Hill Apartments, on the 17800 block of Monterey Road. The crime was reported 3:30 a.m. April 1.
Two women in their late 20s stole baby formula from Nob Hill Foods, 451 Vineyard Town Center. The theft was reported 12:54 p.m. April 4.
Petty theft
A man tried to steal cough medication from Nob Hill Foods, 451 Vineyard Town Center. The theft was reported 7:17 p.m. April 4.
Suspicious person
A man was shouting racial slurs outside Gavilan College’s Morgan Hill site, 17060 Monterey Road. The students were becoming upset about the man’s yelling and insults as the witness called in the disturbance. The incident was reported 8:48 p.m. March 30.
