Suspicious person
Police arrested a man in the parking lot of the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave., for drinking alcohol in his vehicle while watching his three juvenile children, according to police reports. The incident was reported by a patron at the library. The children were released to their mother. The incident was reported 3:32 p.m. April 29.
Theft
Four adults at a $66 meal at Red Robin restaurant, 1045 Cochrane Road, and walked out with out paying, according to police reports. The subjects ran to a waiting silver Honda after the meal. The theft was reported 8:45 p.m. April 27. 
Auto burglary
Someone broke into a tan Yukon Denali and stole a purse and headphones, according to police. The crime was reported 2:56 p.m. April 28.
Someone broke into a vehicle by smashing the window just before 7 p.m. April 28, police reported. Stolen from the vehicle were a backpack and briefcase.
A thief or thieves broke into a red 2007 Yukon and 2012 Prius parked next to each other in an unspecified location in Morgan Hill, according to police reports. The crime was reported 10:46 p.m. April 28.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A 24-foot gray enclosed race trailer, stolen from a location in Morgan Hill April 28, was recovered 4:11 p.m. later that day in San Jose, police said. Inside the trailer when it was stolen was a red Acura Integra. The Acura was not recovered with the trailer.
