Auto burglary
A 1989 Jeep Cherokee was broken into on the 800 block of Encino Drive. Camping gear and a stereo were stolen. The crime was reported 7:52 a.m. Sunday.
A black Honda, a black Chevrolet pickup, and a gray Mercedes, all at a single residence on the 800 block of La Crosse Drive, were broken into. An iPod was stolen. The crime was reported 8:42 a.m. Sunday.
The owner of a 2007 Mercedes returned to the vehicle near the 15200 block of Pratola Court to see the trunk and passenger door hanging open. The vehicle had been rummaged through and a laptop computer case were missing. Some of the property was found on Watsonville Road. The crime was reported at 7:48 a.m. Sunday.
Animal control
A woman reported her pit bull mix was attacked by another pit bull at the Community Dog Park at 225 West Edmundson Ave. The woman reported her dog suffered injuries, and the attacking dog fought with another canine at the park after attacking hers. The incident was reported 3:55 p.m. Sunday.
Petty theft
Someone entered the break room at Safeway Grocery Store at 235 Tennant Station and stole an employee’s purse. The suspect bought some items in the store and used his “preferred customer” card. Store surveillance video captured the theft and purchases. The crime was reported 6:57 a.m. April 24.
