Fraud: Someone used a Morgan Hill City credit card to make a fraudulent charge. The report was taken at 11:50am.

Identity theft: A resident of East First Street reported someone charged $2,000 on his credit card. The report was taken at 4:01pm.

Aug. 11

Petty theft: The Cancer Care Center on Mission View Drive reported $204 was stolen from the cash drawer. The report was taken at 9:46am.

Petty theft: The Microtel Inn and Suites on Condit Road reported a guest went into the housekeeping laundry and took two purses belonging to housekeeping employees. The report was taken at 12:28pm.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported a suspect known to him has been using his credit card without his authorization. The suspect charged approximately $3,000. The report was taken at 2:12pm.

Aug. 12

Vandalism: A residence on Markross Court was spraypainted with graffiti overnight. The report was taken at 10:25am.

Vandalism: Someone broke several windows in a residence on Marianna Court. The report was taken at 12:57pm.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported their Chevy truck was stolen from the parking stall at the apartments. Broken glass was found in the parking stall. The report was taken at 7:23pm.

Aug. 13

Auto burglary: A resident of Denali Drive reported someone stole items from their unlocked vehicle, including a GPS, sunglasses and CDs. The report was taken at 1:34pm.

Aug. 14

Burglary: Just Breakfast restaurant on Monterey Road reported someone broke into their storeroom overnight. The report was taken at 7:52am.

Vandalism: A resident of Helene Lane reported the back window of their car was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 9:55am.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported his wallet with his paycheck in it was stolen while he was at Main Street Bagels. The report was taken at 11:09am.

Threats: A resident of Del Monte Avenue reported he heard his landlord and some other man talking about killing him and heard them mention a firearm. The report was taken at 11:52am.

Grand theft: Anritsu Company on Jarvis Drive reported two gold bars valued at $90,000 were stolen. The report was taken at 3:45pm.

Aug. 15

Fraud: AX Microsolutions on Digital Drive reported a customer used a stolen credit card to purchase items from the company on the Internet. The report was taken at 12:02pm.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported he lost a blank signed check and the check was later cashed for $900. The report was taken at 4:19pm.

Vandalism: A resident of Wright Avenue reported someone broke a garage window at the residence. The report was taken at 5:52pm.

Petty theft: Jane’s Utopia on Monterey Road reported a woman’s wallet containing approximately $2,000 was stolen from the front office of the salon. The report was taken at 7:53pm.

Battery: A resident of the Terracina Apartments on East Dunne Avenue reported a suspect followed her daughter and hit her daughter with a belt three times. The report was taken at 8pm.

Aug. 17

Burglary: A resident of the Barnell Avenue Apartments reported someone entered her apartment the day before and took her purse from her coffee table. The report was taken at 3:16pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Monte Vista Apartments reported someone stole gas from her daughter’s car. The report was taken at 3:22pm.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone entered her unlocked car while it was parked at the Community and Cultural Center and stole her purse. The report was taken at 8:21pm.

Aug. 18

Auto burglary: A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported she left her car unlocked and her purse was stolen from the car. The report was taken at 8:41am.
