Stolen vehicle: Enterprise Rent-A-Car reported a Dodge Neon that needed to be returned on Oct. 13 and has been stolen. The report was taken at 8:47am.

Vandalism: Nordstrom Elementary School reported someone painted graffiti on the school, including gang symbols. The report was taken at 1:23pm.

Nov. 15

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole books and three bags from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Starbucks on Monterey Road. The report was taken at 2:05pm.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole his credit card while he was at the Radio Shack store, and now the card has been used to make charges at the Target store, the Jack in the Box restaurant and the Chevron gas station. The report was taken at 3:56pm.

Arrests:

A 23-year-old male was cited and released for allegedly violating a restraining order. The report was taken on Oct. 28 at 8:13pm.

David W. Morabito, 43, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken at 4pm on Oct. 31.

Hoan T. Nguyen, 34, was cited and released for alleged battery. The report was taken on Nov. 1 at 6:29pm.

Arthur J. Brotherton, Sr., 34, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken at 11:52pm on Nov. 2.

Narciso Atkinson, 41, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken on Nov. 2 at 1:01pm.

Joshua A. Haydon, 18, and Anthony J. Maher, 18, were cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 1:17am on Nov. 3.

Michael P. Mom, 21, was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Nov. 3 at 10:26pm.

Martha L. Portillo, 44, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged petty theft with prior convictions. The report was taken on Nov. 4 at 8:39am.

Jamie N. Lucero, 20, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken at 12:07am on Nov. 6.

Christine R. Herrera, 30, was booked into Santa Clara County jail for alleged fraud. The report was taken at 8:33pm on Nov. 6.

Evette A. Gomes, 28, was cited and released for allegedly receiving stolen property. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 4:44pm.

Richard H. Scott, 53, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged possession of a controlled substance, and Arlene A. Williams, 46, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was take at 8:57pm on Nov. 7.

Janelle t. Ehrichs, 27, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken on Nov. 8 at 12:18am.

Lisa K. Chavez, 27, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged armed robbery. The report was taken on Nov. 8 at 1:49pm.

Morgan Cisneros, 26, was cited and released for alleged hit and run causing damage. The report was taken on Nov. 9 at 7:19am.

Anastacio Griego, Jr., 49, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged burglary. The report was taken at 4:47pm on Nov. 9.

Michelle R. Knox, 30, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken at 1:17am on Nov. 11.

Palme Goins, 27, was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 11:55pm.

A 15-year-old male was cited and released for alleged attempted burglary. The report was taken at 12:17pm on Nov. 12.

A 39-year-old male was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged battery against his girlfriend. The report was taken on Nov. 12 at 4:03pm.

James M. Holderfield, 26, was cited and released for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. The report was taken at 3am on Nov. 13.

A 20-year-old male was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged domestic battery. The report was taken on Nov. 13 at 12:55pm.

Sheriff’s Office

Evading a peace officer, exhibition of speed: A deputy on patrol observed a juvenile pop a wheelie on his motorcycle. The rider maintained the wheelie for about 20 feet. The deputy attempted to make an enforcement stop on the motorcycle. The suspect allegedly failed to yield and sped away at a high rate of speed. The suspect allegedly failed to stop at two separate stop signs. He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a fence. Deputies cited the juvenile at Valley Medical Center, where he was treated for injuries sustained from his crash, and released him to his mother. The report was taken on Nov. 10.

Attempted burglary: In San Martin, someone threw two rocks through the front window and glass door of the Unocal gas station. A man inside the store saw an unknown male stick his leg and head through the broken glass door attempting to enter the store. The man yelled at the suspect, who fled in a dark colored SUV. The victim does not know the suspect. Damage to the door and glass is estimated at approximately $1,000. The report was taken on Nov. 11.
