Grand theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported she left her purse in the Cinelux Theaters in the Tennant Station shopping center, and when she returned to get it, the purse was gone. The report was taken at 5:08pm.

Oct. 8

Vandalism: A resident of the Wright Avenue Apartments reported someone broke a front window of the apartment. The report was taken at 6:27pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Montoya Circle reported someone stole their registration from their unlocked Volkswagen Jetta and the tab from the license plate on Oct. 7. The report was taken at 6:40pm.

Grand theft: A Specialized bike valued at $600-700 was stolen from a shed on Thomas Grade. The report was taken at 8:46pm.

Oct. 9

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Easy Street reported someone stole a Honda dirt bike from the back of their truck. The report was taken at 8:02am.

Burglary: A resident of Del Monte Avenue reported he was in a bedroom, and a female ran out of his front door after stealing $300 from his wallet. He told police he could not remember the female’s name, but he drove her to court the day before. The report was taken at 1:22pm.

Vandalism: A resident of the Creekside Village Townhomes reported the driver’s side door of their vehicle was “keyed,” and some type of chemical was poured on the windshield. The report was taken at 5:27pm.

Vandalism: A resident of the Barnell Apartments reported their roommate’s Dodge Durango was vandalized with a rock, and two neighborhood girls can identify the suspect. The report was taken at 6:15pm.

Oct. 10

Petty theft: A resident of Lake View Drive reported someone stole a patio umbrella valued at $200 from her backyard. The report was taken at 9:07am.

Arrests:

Christopher S. Jordan, 26, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged impersonation, and Sandra Ganzler, 40, was cited and released for alleged forgery. The report was taken on Oct. 4 at 12:12pm.

A 29-year-old man was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged spousal abuse. The report was taken at 3:16pm on Oct. 6.

Sheriff’s Office:

Burglary: On Oct. 8 in unincorporated Morgan Hill, unknown suspect(s) cut a bolt lock and took a motorcycle from a locked storage container. An ATV-type motorcycle was also taken from the backyard of the residence. The initial inventory of the take was valued at $3,800. The suspects are still outstanding.
