  • Vandalism: Sobrato High School on Burnett Avenue reported a teacher’s van was vandalized while parked on schools on Nov. 18. The report was taken at 8:38am.

  • Auto burglary: A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle overnight. A wallet, ID and old pagers and cell phones were stolen. The report was taken at 10:09am.

  • Petty theft: A business on Woodview Drive reported gas was stolen from all the company vehicles overnight. The report was taken at 10:11am.

  • Auto burglary: A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported someone entered her locked Jeep Cherokee – although there was no sign of forced entry – and stole her CD player and changer. The report was taken at 12:04pm.

  • Petty theft: An employee of Thinker Toys in downtown Morgan Hill reported her purse was stolen from under the counter. She later called police to report her purse was recovered at Anderson Dam, with cell phone and car keys intact, but her driver’s license, credit cards and checkbook were missing. When she called the bank to report the cards stolen, she was told someone was using the card at a gas station in Santa Clara. The report was taken at 1:20pm.

  • Auto burglary: An employee of the Target in Cochrane Plaza shopping center reported their Dodge Stratus was broken into while parked in the parking lot. A window was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 2:26pm.

  • Fraud: A resident of Birch Way reported a check was stolen from their checkbook sometime between Nov. 11 and Nov. 15. The report was taken at 3:33pm.

November 29

  • Auto burglary: A resident of Del Monte Village Townhomes reported his Ford Explorer was broken into overnight. He told police there was no sign of forced entry, but he is positive it was locked. The report was taken at 8am.

  • Burglary: Warmington Homes reported the theft of air conditioning coils from residences under construction. The report was taken at 9:58am.

  • Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported he has not received his child support checks of $450 per month, though when he contacted the court, he was told the checks had been sent. The report was taken at 10:02am.

  • Burglary: A resident of Rolling Hills Drive reported an unknown female walked into his house and tried to take his big screen TV; when confronted, she said she was “checking the set.” She left without taking the set. The report was taken at 10:21am.

  • Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen from her purse while she was shopping at the Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue. The theft occurred, she told police, on Nov. 25 at approximately 4pm. The report was taken at 1:46pm.

  • Petty theft: Rite Aid on Monterey Road reported three male suspects stole multiple medications from the store. The report was taken at 8:15pm.

November 30

  • Auto burglary: A resident of Vista Del Valle reported their Acura Integra was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and the garage door opener and three tires were stolen from the Integra. The report was taken at 3:13am.

  • Identity theft: A resident of Woodland Avenue reported someone used his ID to gain access to his bank account, and $2,500 was stolen from the account. The report was taken at 10:37pm.

  • Petty theft: A resident of Fountain Court reported her daughter’s cell phone was stolen while she was in gym class at Live Oak High. The report was taken at 11:29am.

  • Identity theft: A resident of Casa Grande Court reported someone stole money from their online banking account. The report was taken at 2:17pm.

  • Petty theft: The Chevron gas station on Cochrane Road reported two suspects stole cases of Dr. Pepper from the store. The report was taken at 9:22pm.
