Auto burglary

  • Pacific Hills Manor Residential, Noble Court, 10:16pm. A Toyota Corolla was broken into while in the parking lot. A window was broken, and a purse was stolen.

April 17

Vandalism

  • dd’s Discount’s, Monterey Road, 9:26am. The handicap rail at the rear of the building was “cut away,” causing more than $4,000 in damage.

April 18

Auto burglary

  • The Thomas Kinkade Company, Lightpost Way, 3:07pm. A Nissan Pathfinder was broken into. Two windows were shattered and the stereo was stolen.

April 19

Auto burglary

  • Dougherty Avenue, 8am. A resident reported someone broke into a Honda Civic overnight. A window was shattered and the stereo was stolen. A screwdriver was left behind in the Civic.

Fraud

  • Wells Fargo Bank, Monterey Road, 2:01pm. A female tried to cash a fraudulent check. She left the check and a fake credit card.

  • Farallon Drive, 6:22pm. Checks were forged on the resident’s account.

Petty theft

  • TJ Maxx clothing store, Vineyard Town Center, 1:17pm.

A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole her wallet from her purse while her purse was in the shopping cart in the store.

Vandalism

  • Village Avante Apartment Homes, Cosmo Avenue, 10:12am. A resident reported a rear window was shattered overnight.

  • Carriage Drive, 4:14pm. A GMC van’s antenna and a side mirror were broken.

Vandalism

  • JoAnn’s Fabrics, Tennant Station shopping center, 4:36am. Someone broke a store window overnight.

Identity theft

  • Gallop Drive, 3:07pm. A resident reported someone used his information to open an account and purchase a computer.

April 24

Petty theft

  • Executive Inn Suites, Condit Road, 12:32pm. A customer checked out of the motel and took the refrigerator, iron, two pillows and ironing board.

Vandalism

  • La Alameda at Watsonville Road, 5:24pm. The vehicle’s right side was “keyed” while parked at this location.
