- Fraud: Morgan Hill City Hall, Peak Avenue, 4:46pm
A city finance employee reported an altered check was cashed.
- Burglary: Wright Avenue, 5:56pm
A resident reported someone broke into the residence and stole an XBox game system and games and accessories that go with the system. She told police she believes her ex-boyfriend is a suspect.
- Stolen vehicle: Villa Ciolino Apartments, Ciolino Avenue, 8:13pm
A resident reported a rental car from Enterprise Rent-a-Car was stolen from the parking lot.
Feb. 24
- Vandalism: Safeway gas station, Tennant Station Way, 4:15am
The station’s rear windows were broken sometime between 11pm and 4am.
- Vandalism: Marbella Court, 12:37am
A resident reported someone used a knife to slash their Chevy Tahoe’s tire overnight.
Feb. 25
- Auto burglary: Seville Drive, 10:42am
A resident reported he returned home from vacation and found his locked truck was broken into. Tools belonging to his employer were stolen from the locked toolbox in the bed of the truck. The tools were valued at $5,000-6,000.
- Auto burglary: Morgan Hill Aquatics Center, Condit Road, 11:05am
A locked Ford Explorer was broken into in the parking lot. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen.
- Auto burglary: Morgan Hill Aquatics Center, Condit Road, 11:17am
A locked Chevy Suburban was broken into while parked in the parking lot. A window was shattered, and a wallet purse, cell phone and headphones were stolen.
- Auto burglary: Morgan Hill Aquatics Center, Condit Road, 11:38am
A locked Toyota 4Runner was broken into in the parking lot.
- Auto burglary: Terracina Apartments, East Dunne Avenue, 12:46pm
A locked Toyota Tacoma was broken into while parked in the complex parking lot. A window was shattered, and a navigation system was stolen.
- Auto burglary: Beth El Baptist Church, Tennant Avenue, 1:10pm
A locked Plymouth van was broken into in the church parking lot. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen.
- Auto burglary: Calle Cerro, 1:36pm
A locked vehicle was broken into overnight in the residence’s driveway. A window was shattered, and a GPS system was stolen.
- Vandalism: Nob Hill Foods, Vineyard Town Center, 1:45pm
Someone “keyed” a Chevy Monte Carlo in the parking lot.
Feb. 26
- Battery: Strikes Lounge, Tennant Station Way, 11:42am
A Morgan Hill resident reported he was attacked. He told police a suspect hit him and spat at him. The suspect and the resident are involved in some sort of civil litigation, the resident told police.
- Auto burglary: Safeway grocery store, East Dunne Avenue, 3:39pm
A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the shopping center parking lot.
- Fraud: Serene Drive, 3:42pm
A resident reported her checks were stolen from her mailbox, and several have now been forged and cashed, one of them for $500.
- Threats: Morgan Hill Apartments, Monterey Road, 4:37pm
A resident reported she has been receiving death threats via text messages. She told police she received five messages, and she believes her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend is sending them.

- Two teenagers, ages 14 and 13, Feb. 9, at 3:21pm at Sobrato High School, for allegedly fighting.

A 17-year-old, Feb. 10, at 11:20pm on Campoli Drive, for alleged possession of a switchblade knife with a blade longer than two inches.

Maria E. Corona, 31, Feb. 14, at 2:28pm at Mervyn’s, Cochrane Plaza shopping center, for alleged petty theft.
n Pedro Orosco, Jr., 23, and Lisa M. Flores, 24, Feb. 17, at 1:58am at Strikes Lounge, Tennant Station Way, for suspicion of driving under the influence.
