Petty theft

  • Maple Leaf RV Park, Monterey Road, 9:28am. Several washers and dryers in the laundry room were broken into, and money was stolen from the machines.

Child abuse

  • Church Street, 8:01pm. A resident reported that a teenager came to the resident’s home and said her mother had hit her. The resident reported the girl’s face was red and swollen.

Oct. 10

Auto burglary

  • Oak Grove Court, 6:59am. A resident reported his Honda Accord was broken into overnight. The stereo, a garage remote door opener and other items were stolen.

  • Paramit Corporation, Madrone Parkway, 12:22pm. Several employee vehicles in the parking lot were broken into during the morning.

Grand theft

  • Marlich Mechanical, Diana Avenue, 8:01am. Someone stole 600 pounds of copper wire overnight from the construction site. This is the second time in a week someone has stolen copper wire from the site.

  • Ventura Drive, 4:45pm. A resident reported someone stole a postal package.

Vandalism

  • Creekside Village Townhomes, Creekside Lane, 12:42pm. A resident reported someone bent the windshield wiper on her car overnight.

Petty theft

  • La Casa del Puente, Depot Street, 1:12pm. A resident reported she was sent Target gift cards for her son’s birthday, and she never received them. When she contacted Target, they told her someone used the cards.

  • Oscar Arias, 24, Oct. 4, 7:48pm, no location given, for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

  • Pedro J. Perez, 20, Oct. 5, 9:18pm on Tennant Avenue, for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

  • Jerry R. Fydrich, Jr., 21, Oct. 7, 12:55am on Monterey Road, for allegedly receiving stolen property.

  • Lindsey E. Barger, 20, Oct. 7, 10:07pm on Crest Avenue, for alleged possession of marijuana.

  • Robert D. Porter, 30, Oct. 8, 9:26pm on Madrone Parkway, on suspicion of being drunk in public.

  • A 31-year-old female, Oct. 8, 10:23pm on Oak View Drive, for alleged domestic violence.

  • Noe O. Camacho, 29, Oct. 9, 12:13am on East Main Avenue, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • German J. Franco, Jr., Oct. 10, 12:54am on Monterey Road, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Sheriff’s arrests:

Possession of marijuana

  • Michael Robert Giannuzzi, 35, of Lantz Drive in Morgan Hill, 10pm Oct. 2, on a parole hold. A sheriff’s deputy saw Giannuzzi’s vehicle on the side of the road and thought it looked suspicious. When he approached, he smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle, finding one pound of marijuana in two black plastic bags and a glass pipe. Giannuzzi could be booked for possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Under the influence of a controlled substance

  • Diana Lynn Clinton, 48, of the 13200 block of South Lincoln Avenue in San Martin, 8:45pm Monday, at 80 Highland Avenue on a warrant for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Possession of a controlled substance

  • Rogelio Canales Ibanez, 53, of the 100 block of Third Street, 8pm Oct. 4, at the intersection of Monterey and Old Gilroy streets on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
