Oct. 17

Auto burglary

Starbucks, Cochrane Road, 8:11 p.m. Two vehicles were broken into in the parking lot. A stereo was stolen from a Honda Civic, and CDs were stolen from a Ford Ranger.

Oct. 18

Stolen vehicle

Target store, Cochrane Road, 12:13 p.m. An employee reported his Honda Accord was stolen from the store parking lot on Oct. 17 while he was at work.

Oct. 20

Auto burglary

24 Hour Fitness, Tennant Station shopping center, 4:10 p.m. A Honda Accord was broken into while in the parking lot. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen.

Oct. 21

Stolen vehicle

White Cloud Drive, 7:29 a.m. A resident reported their Ford Windstar was stolen from the residence.

Auto burglary

White Cloud Drive, 9:33 a.m. A resident reported their vehicle was broken into.
White Cloud Drive, 11:02 a.m. A resident reported their vehicle was broken into. A window was shattered, and a camera, phone and sunglasses were stolen.
Pratola Court, 11:35 a.m. A resident reported someone broke into an Acura Integra and stole the stereo, speakers and amplifier.
White Cloud Drive, 4:26 p.m. A resident reported a Ford F250 was broken into, and a briefcase containing a cell phone was stolen.
White Cloud Drive, 5:48pm. A resident reported a vehicle was broken into.
Venetian Way, 11:06pm. A resident reported a clarinet, a MP3 player and a camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Mirian B. Duarte, 32, Oct. 5, 5:10 p.m. on Monterey Road, for alleged theft.
Raymond A. Meinel, 42, Oct. 6, 12:57 a.m. on Tennant Avenue, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Robert L. Haygood, 38, Oct. 6, 1:13 p.m. on Monterey Road, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled sustance.
Mchelle M. Sanchez, 42, Oct. 11, 11:59 p.m. on Edmundson Avenue, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Steve J. Shurley, 53, Oct. 12, 3:06 p.m. on Via Sorrento, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Bryce K. Burch, 20, Oct. 13, 5 a.m. on Condit Road, on suspicion of being a minor driving after consuming alcohol.
Matthew R. Daly, 18, Oct. 13, 11:05 p.m. on Digital Drive, for alleged possession of marijuana.

Sheriff’s arrests

Controlled substance possession

Salvador Perez, 45, of the 8500 block of Silvia Street, 11 p.m. Monday, near the intersection of Monterey and 10th streets for possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. Perez was stopped in his car and had 0.5 grams of methamphetamine in his right front pants pocket.
Sharon Lea Squeri, 44, of the 17000 block of Hill Road in Morgan Hill, 4 p.m. Sunday, at her residence for possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Squeri was reported by witnesses to be screaming, threatening suicide and possibly in possession of a shotgun in a cottage behind her house where she was found.

Public intoxication

Jon Jay Leaman, 64, of Live Oak Avenue in Morgan Hill, 11:50 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Live Oak and Hale avenues for public intoxication. Leaman was found passed out in a ditch.

Controlled substance influence

Michelle Ann Lisher, 35, of the 17000 block of Hill Road in Morgan Hill, 3:05 p.m. Saturday, at her residence for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
