Battery
- Edwin Jones Court, 11:31am. A resident reported his daughter stayed the night at a residence in the area, and while she was there some possible gang members there punched her in the face, knocking her down. The adults at the residence did not report the incident, the father told police.
Auto burglary
- Extended Stay America, Jarvis Drive, 11:42am. A guest reported someone broke into their rental car overnight and stole the navigation unit.

- Llagas Road, 7:46am. A resident reported an ongoing problem with damage to her vehicles. This time, she reported, someone threw a pumpkin through the windshield of her van.

Gilberto Garcia, 34, of the 1800 block of East Main Street in Morgan Hill, 11:20am Monday, for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Driving under the influence
- Pedro Lopez, 27, of the 7400 block of Royal Lane, 12:55pm Sunday, at 80 W. Highland Ave. in San Martin for allegedly driving under the influence and on a warrant for without a license.

Assault and battery
- A man was assaulted and suffered minor injuries on Ferguson Road, 6:30pm Sunday, by an unknown assailant for an unknown reason. Sheriff’s deputies suspect the assailant, who is still at large, was the victim’s brother, Francisco Rios, 33, of Ferguson Road, Gilroy.
Auto burglary
- A 1997 green Honda CRV was broken into and a briefcase stolen from the passenger’s seat, between 9:30am and 1pm Saturday. The car, which had its front passenger-side window broken in the burglary, was parked at West Side Nursery on Hecker Pass Highway, where the victim works.
Burglary
- Food, stereo equipment and sporting goods worth $405 were stolen from a residential shed while the two victims were moving. The suspect, of whom the victims were only able to give the first name, is still at large.
