  • Petty theft: An El Toro Brew Pub employee reported $140 in cash was stolen from her purse in an employee locker. The report was taken at 2:09pm.

  • Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported their GMC truck was stolen from the Safety grocery store parking lot in Tennant Station shopping center. The report was taken at 10:42pm.

Feb. 3

  • Vandalism: A Piazza Way resident reported her home’s rear window had a possible bullet hole. She was unable to find a bullet or pellet inside the house. The report was taken at 5:42pm.

  • Stolen vehicle: A GMC Silverado was reported stolen from the Scramblz’s parking lot on East Dunne Avenue. The report was taken at 9:06pm.

Feb. 4

  • Burglary: The SnoWhite Drive-In’s owner on Monterey Road reported the business was broken into. The report was taken at 7:14pm.

Feb. 5

  • Auto burglary: An East First Street resident reported their locked Chevy truck was broken into overnight. The report was taken at 6:43am.

  • Stolen vehicle: A Peak Avenue resident reported their locked Toyota Camry was stolen overnight. The report was taken at 7:44am.

  • Fraud: A Cabinet Outlet employee reported her credit card was stolen while she was at work, and the card was used at several places in Morgan Hill. The report was taken at 9:26am.

  • Grand theft: A Morgan Hill Apartment Trailers resident reported his 37-inch flat-screen TV was stolen, and the only two people who have keys to his apartment are his roommates. The report was taken at 11:39am.

  • Petty theft: An Acacia Mobile Home Park resident reported his vehicle was parked on the street overnight, and his tires were stolen. The report was taken at 3:36pm.

  • Petty theft: A Walgreens customer reported someone stole her purse. The report was taken at 7:05pm.

Feb. 6

  • Petty theft: A Subway customer reported he left his wallet in the restaurant, and when he returned the wallet was gone. The report was taken at 9:47am.

  • Fraud: An Oak View Circle resident reported several charges were made on Yahoo using their credit card number. A total of $6,000 was illegally charged to the card. The report was taken at 7:54pm.

Arrests:

  • Kevin K. Gonzalez, 18, was cited and released for alleged vandalism. The report was taken on Jan. 27 at 3:13pm.

  • Eric e. Meza, 29, was cited and released for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. The report was taken at 6:09pm on Jan. 30.

  • Esdras P. Sosa, 24, Jesus B. Valencia, 19, and a 17-year-old were cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bernardo A. Lopez, 19, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant. The report was taken on Jan. 31 at 11:21pm.

  • Michael J. Lunau, 49, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken at 12:38pm on Feb. 1.

  • Ryan C. Rosen, 22, was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Feb. 1 at 7:38pm.

  • Two 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old (two males and a female) were cited and released to their parents on charges of alleged arson and residential burglary. The report was taken at 5:33pm on Jan. 23.

  • Ronald R. Wormuth, Jr., 47, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged petty theft. The report was taken on Jan. 26 at 3:27pm.

  • Robert P. Soza, 43, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged auto theft. The report was taken at 10:17am on Jan. 27.

  • James P. Prado, 44, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on an outstanding warrant. The report was taken on Feb. 5 at 3:29pm.

  • Roberto R. Silva, 46, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for burglary. The report was taken on Feb. 7 at 5:11pm.

Sheriff’s Office:

  • Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident went on a nine-day vacation and had her mail stopped at her residence. When she returned from vacation, her mail box was open, and the mail was missing. The Post Office confirmed that the mail had been delivered. A day later, her newly-issued credit card was used to make purchases.
