someone shattered a back window of the business, but it was unclear
at the time of the report if items were stolen from the business.
The report was taken at 1:02pm on Feb. 21.
Stolen vehicle:

n A Morgan Hill resident reported a Honda CRX parked on West Dunne Avenue was stolen overnight. The resident has the only set of keys to the Honda. The report was taken on Feb. 28 at 12:40pm.

n A Honda Accord was stolen from the parking lot of the Village Avante Apartment Homes overnight. The report was taken at 8:12am on March 4.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported he parked his Toyota Tacoma overnight at Cosmo Avenue and Monterey Road, and the Toyota was stolen. The report was taken on March 5 at 11:05am.

Auto Burglary:

n Alpha Radiators on Monterey Road reported a customer’s locked Nissan pickup was broken into overnight. The door lock was broken, the stereo was stolen, and the rims were stolen from the vehicle. The suspect(s) left behind the tools that were used to remove the rims. The report was taken on Feb. 21 at 9:05am.

n A resident of the 800 block of Encino Drive reported the resident’s locked Jeep Cherokee was broken into. A window was shattered, and the radio was stolen. The report was taken at 1:38pm on Feb. 21.

n A resident of the 16400 block of Juan Hernandez Drive reported the resident’s locked Ford Expedition was broken into overnight. Stereo equipment and video games were stolen from the Expedition. The report was taken on Feb. 22 at 8:44am.

n An employee of First Impressions Nail Salon on Monterey Road reported her GMC Yukon was broken into while she was at work. A window was shattered, and an overnight bag full of clothes and other items was stolen. The report was taken at 7:30pm on Feb. 24.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported her locked Lexus was broken into while parked at the 24 Hour Fitness Club in Tennant Station. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen from the Lexus. The report was taken on Feb. 26 at 10:20am.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s locked Saab was broken into while the Saab was parked behind the Second Street mall at Second Street and Monterey Road. A window was shattered, and a wallet that was left on the seat was stolen. The report was taken at 10:42am on Feb. 26.

n An employee of the Safeway in Tennant Station reported someone attempted to break into the employee’s vehicle while it was parked at the store. An attempt was made to drill the lock. The report was taken on Feb. 28 at 3:08am.

n A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported as she approached her vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot of the complex, a suspect was “ripping out” the stereo from her vehicle. She gave police a description of the suspect, who fled in another vehicle. The report was taken at 7:17am on Feb. 28.

n A resident of Calle Viento reported someone entered the resident’s unlocked vehicle overnight and stole CDs. The report was taken on Feb. 28 at 7:28am.

n A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported someone broke into her vehicle overnight and stole two bags containing karate gear and weapons. The resident told police she believes the vehicle was locked but was unsure how the vehicle was entered. The report was taken at 9:26am on Feb. 28.

n A resident of the 17300 block of Walnut Grove Drive reported someone broke into the resident’s unlocked vehicle and stole sunglasses, prescription glasses and other items. The resident told police the vehicle was parked in the driveway with the keys in the vehicle. The report was taken on Feb. 28 at 10:47am.

A resident of the 700 block of Roble Drive reported the resident’s unlocked vehicle was broken into, and a backpack, a cup of pennies and a book containing registration and proof of insurance were stolen. The report was taken at 12:09pm on Feb. 28.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s locked Audi was broken into while parked behind the downtown mall on Monterey Road. A window was shattered, and a briefcase was stolen from the Audi. The resident gave police a description of the suspects and their vehicle. The report was taken on March 2 at 4:40pm.

n Dan Gamel’s RV on Condit Road reported several RV’s were broken into overnight. The report was taken at 9:50am on March 3.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported she left her purse on the passenger seat of her unlocked Honda parked in front of a friend’s house on El Pajaro Court for 10 minutes, and when she returned, the purse had been stolen. The report was taken on March 3 at 3:42pm.

n A locked Ford Focus parked at the Morgan Hill Animal Hospital on Monterey Road was broken into; a window was shattered and a purse was stolen. The report was taken at 8:45pm on March 3.

n A resident of the 100 block of Tarragon Avenue reported the resident’s locked Ford Expedition was broken into overnight. It was not clear how the vehicle was entered. A “brand new” iPod was stolen, along with a purse and CDs. The report was taken on March 4 at 8:01am.

n A Morgan Hill resident said his locked vehicle was broken into overnight while it was parked on Calle Buena Vista. A radar detector and a three way charger were stolen. The report was taken at 7:52pm on March 4.

Burglary:

n GMAC Mortgage on East Main Avenue reported someone broke into the business and stole two desktop computers. The back door appeared to be pried open. The report was taken on Feb. 20 at 5:26pm.

n Busch Semiconductor Vacuum on Sutter Boulevard reported someone shattered a back window of the business, but it was unclear at the time of the report if items were stolen from the business. The report was taken at 1:02pm on Feb. 21.

n Pink Elephant Bakery on Monterey Road reported the business was broken into overnight. The lock was “popped off” the front door. It was unclear at the time of the report what items were missing. The report was taken on Feb. 22 at 2:50am.

n Cornerstone Pest Control on Joleen Way reported someone broke into the business overnight and stole a computer and other items. There was no sign of forced entry; it is possible a key was used to enter the business. The report was taken at 6:55am on Feb. 22.

n Westcoast Beauty on Monterey Road reported someone attempted to pry off the locks to the business overnight but was not able to get inside the business. The report was taken on Feb. 22 at 8:16am.

n Haug Quality Equipment on Technology Drive reported someone broke into a secured storage container and stole two welding machines. The report was taken at 10:31am on Feb. 22.
