Patsy attended South Valley Community Church and was employed at Wal-Mart in Gilroy.
She is survived by her her mother Joyce Vieira of Gilroy; father Richard Katen of San Jose; brothers Richard Katen of Gilroy and Robert Katen of Stevensville, Mont.; and grandparents Ed and Dorothy Mosby of San Martin. She is the aunt of Coleman Katen, Carson Katen and Jade Katen; niece of Robert Vieira, Leonard Katen, William Katen, Virgie Katen and Christine Dezell.
She was a loyal friend to her two dogs Duke Thomas and Cottontail.
Her uncle Art Vieira preceded her in death.
Services will be at 6 tonight, Aug. 15, at South Valley Community Church in Gilroy. Visitation will be held at Habing Family Funeral Home beginning at noon today. Graveside services will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday where she will be buried with her grandfather, Joseph Vieira.
