at Pasatiempo/Peachwoods, a garden sanctuary in Santa Cruz.
Tisha Parrish and Tim Altamirano were married June 21 at the Inn at Pasatiempo/Peachwoods, a garden sanctuary in Santa Cruz.
The ceremony was truly personal and intimate. The reception was held in the Ballroom of the Coconut Grove on the beach. The Maid of Honor was Jennifer Doss, Matron of Honor was Christie Griffin, Bridesmaids were Andrea Rodriguez, Michelle Johnson, Kirstin Scorcur and Cari Sebranek.
The Best Man was Josh Altamirano and the Groomsmen were Eric and Aaron Rodriguez, James Echeveria, Eric Genest and Eric Villa.
Their Junior Bridesmaid was Susanne Parrish and the Flower Girls were Mariah and Genesis Fuentes. Scotty Taylor was the ring bearer and Brandon Parrish walked his sister, Tisha, down the aisle.
Tisha, 23, is the oldest of five children and was born in Santa Clara. She grew up in Morgan Hill and graduated from Live Oak High School in 1997. She has been going to college for a degree in Business and Accounting, and is also a certified tax preparer. Tisha now works as an accountant for a large construction company and is a tax preparer during the tax season.
Tim Altamirano, 24, is the youngest of four brothers and three sisters and was born in Gilroy. He grew up in Morgan Hill and graduated from Live Oak High School in 1997. He has certificates for specialty work in the RV business and has been working as an RV service tech for seven years.
The couple met three years ago while running into old high school friends at Camelot Restaurant. Right away Tim and Tisha became good friends. They often talked about one another with family and friends and then finally started dating. Both have said they were in love before they even started dating.
They became engaged March 24, 2002, in Monterey. They had driven to Paseo Robles for a banquet dinner for Tisha’s brother and on their way back they went to dinner on Fisherman’s Wharf. After dinner they took a walk along the beach where Tim got down on one knee and proposed.
For their honeymoon, Tisha and Tim went to Miami for a cruise to the Western Caribbean. They are proud home owners and will live in Morgan Hill.
