Morgan Hill police arrested a parolee from Union City in possession of meth, a drug scale, fake IDs and stolen property Sept. 20 near the Extended Stay America at 605 Jarvis Drive.
Randall Cablay, 26, was contacted by police officers around 1:39 p.m. Sept. 20 in the parking lot where police learned he was on “active parole” for burglary. Once he was searched, Cablay had about 1 ounce of methamphetamine, $1,000 in cash, a drug scale and two fake California driver licenses.
The licenses had Cablay’s photo on each of them, but with different names.
He was then arrested and his room at the Extended Stay America was searched.
Cablay also had paperwork with names, dates of births, social security numbers, blank check, bank statements and other assorted stolen mail in his rented room. Police believe the computer equipment recovered from the room was recently stolen during a burglary in Cupertino.
