Approximately 115 Carden Academy students will hit the books later this week, but school officials say there are still openings for students, and the school takes admission applications all year long. The school, which offers junior kindergarten through eighth grade, has three new teachers this year.
Carden’s middle school program offers students the opportunity to take classes in Latin, French, computers art and physical education in addition to their core academic classes. Carden students who completed the middle school program last year were accepted into private high schools throughout the Bay Area, school officials said.
