Mervin Leroy Gunter
Merv was born in Gilroy, CA and lived his entire life in Morgan Hill, except for the years he spent proudly serving hus country. He worked for Gunter Bros. Feed Store for 30 years. He had many hobbies including, but not limited to, control-line airplanes, HO model trains, camping at Mt. Madonna and antique tractors and gas enigines. He was a lifetime member of the E.D.G.E. and T.A. Branch 3. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dee; son, William; daughter-in-law, Kristine; granddaughters, Sarah and Shannon; daughter, Kathy and her fiance, Bob. Visitation will be on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 11:30 A.M., also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages that donations be made in Mervin's memory to the American Heart Association, W.E.R.C., F.O.S.M., or charity of your choice.

Virginia Lee Acton
Virginia Acton passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at 78 years old. Virginia was a life long citizen of Morgan Hill. She had many interests including playing golf, bridge and going on long hikes with her dear friend, Marge Blair. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mary Pravettoni, her brother, Peter Pravettoni Jr., and her husband, Alan Acton all of Morgan Hill. She is survived by her nephews; Peter Pravettoni the III (Laura), Frank Pravettoni (Debbie), her niece Gina Hinds (Pat, Brittani and Megan), her brother in-law Edward Acton, and sister in-law Lorraine Renella.
