Rebecca M. McGovern of San Juan Bautista died on November 17, 2007 at her home. Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007, at 2:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister.

June D. Cofer passed away Friday at the age of 88. She came to Hollister in 1982 from Millbrae. Wife of the late Donald Miller Cofer and mother of James Cofer of San Mateo. Private graveside services will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo. Contributions to St. Benedict Church preferred.

John C. Kirby, son of a pioneer Santa Clara Valley Ranching Family passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. “Jack” was born to be a cowboy and he lived his life with pride.  

Donna J. Pfeiffer passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the age of 83. She and her late husband, Albert had made Hollister their home since 1971.

Virginia Brown Snead, very possibly San Benito County's oldest resident, died here June 22, 2009. She had celebrated her 108th birthday on June 4th of this year at the Mabie Center, Southside, in Hollister.

Cesare "Chea" James Bertero passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 8th, 2009, at the age of 88 years.

In her memory, a Celebration of Life will be held April 29, 2017 beginning at 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. Please RSVP to [email protected] if you plan to attend.
