Robert Cooper 99, passed away at Pacific Hills Manor surrounded by his family on Feb. 9,2009.

On behalf of the family of Leonard “Lenny” Alvarez, we would like to thank all the families and friends who gave their spiritual, moral and financial support of Lenny during his illness with ALS. We deeply appreciate your kindness, thoughtfulness and most of all, your generosity during all these years. Lenny touched the hearts of so many people. He was courageous, talented, and loving and his infectious smile will always be unforgettable. We all feel very blessed to have had Lenny in our lives and to have shared so many beautiful memories with him.

May Snell Damm died May 29th at the age of 94 in her Hollister home. Born in Nevada City, California, she came to Hollister at a young age. May resided in Hollister, except when pursuing her education and career.

Barbara M. Chastain passed into her next life on September 16 after a very courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Leonard, her son Mark Chastain of Sacramento, her daughter Miki Allard of Reno, Nevada, and three grandsons; Kevin, Joel and Jared. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Mike Chastain.

Francesco Fortino, age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 12, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita for 47 years. They were married on July 22, 1961. He loved his two sons, Vince and Fausto both of Gilroy; devoted grandfather of Bianca Fortino of Gilroy, Michele Fortino of Hollister and Gianfranco Fortino of Gilroy; beloved brother of Albert Fortino of Palm Desert, Louie Fortino of Gilroy, Adele of Gilroy, Mary and Anna both of Italy and the late Giuseppe and Gene Fortino; dearest uncle of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of life will be held at Kilaga Springs Lodge, 1167 Sun City Blvd. Lincoln, CA on November 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.

A celebration of Sal's life will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., at Johnson Funeral Home in Morgan Hill. The address is 17720 Monterey Road.In lieu of flowers, please give to your favorite charity.

A memorial service will be held on September 7, 2013, at 3:00 P.M., at Sacred Heart Church.

Louis "Louie" De Jesus 65, of Morgan Hill, rejoined his parents Manuel and Theresa De Jesus on July 23,2010.

A gravesite service will be held at 10:30 A.M., at San Juan Bautista Cemetery, 70 Monterey St. A Celebration of Life will follow at the San Juan Bautista VFW Post 6395, 58 Monterey St., San Juan Bautista, CA 95045 on Monday July 25, 2016.
