Manuel P. Villalobos, 84, passed away at his home in Gilroy, Friday, November 27, 2009. Husband of 46 years to Trinidad Villalobos of Gilroy. Father of Daniel Villalobos (Rosa) of Gilroy, Silvia Brookens (Todd) of Brentwood, CA and Manuel Archibeque of Newman, CA. Grandfather of Christian, Christopher & Ethan Villalobos of Gilroy, Tyler & Madison Brookens of Brentwood, Jacqueline & Quade Archibeque of Newman. Brother of Ofelia Paredes , Willie Villalobos, Stanley Villalobos, Carol Engebretson, Linda Kobashi all of Gilroy, Cipriana Martinez of Salinas, CA, Alice Trinklein of San Jose and the late Robert, Augie and Raymond Villalobos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Texas. Mr. Villalobos moved to Gilroy as a child, he graduated from Gilroy High School and worked for Gilroy High School, South Valley Junior High and Brownell Middle School for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church & Knights of Columbus.

Eugene (Gene) Milton Wells was born on November 30, 1933, to Francis Edward and Adah Elizabeth Bath Wells, in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in the small mid-western farming town of Auburn, Nebraska, 70 miles south of Omaha, where the family had interests in banking, real estate and farming. He and his older brother Frank loved playing football and other outdoor sports, and together they joined the Boy Scouts of America and would eventually both earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
