Pauline Filice De Francesco passed away May 14, 2007 in Firebaugh, CA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Mario De Francesco Sr. and son Alfred De Francesco. She is survived by her son Mario De Francesco Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Firebaugh, daughter Louise Lindeleaf and her husband Robert Lindeleaf of Fresno, and daughter-in-law Dolores De Francesco of Gilroy. She also leaves her grandchildren; Michelle Cardella, Frank, Mario III, Michael, and Christopher De Francesco, Mia Eaton, Toni Lindeleaf, and Robin Watenpaugh, 14 great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Judy Filice of Gilroy.

Age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family early Christmas Eve at the Reyes family home in Morgan Hill. He was born in Otis, New Mexico. He came to California as a child and grew up in Dinuba, CA.

Frank "Panchito" Garcia passed away in Hollister. He was born in Querendaro, Michoacan, Mexico and lived in San Benito County for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Garcia, who died in 1989 and worked in agriculture and in the cannery. He originally came here with the Bracero Program and worked for Gilroy Foods. He was a member of the Teamster's Union and Jehovah's Witnesses.

Manuel "Mela" Montalvo passed away peacefully May 22, 2009 in the presence of loved ones. Survived by her children Sophia (Pedro) Ramirez, Olga Hernandez of Gilroy and Frank Montalvo Jr. of Del Rio, TX, also survived by her sisters Maria "Cuca" Heredia of Chicago, IL and Jennie Hernandez of Gilroy. Survived by 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 17 great- great -grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Frank Montalvo Sr. and children Belia Garcia, Maria Cervantez and Rose Tomasetti, also preceded in death by her parents Margarita and Juan Manuel Hernandez, sister Panchita Ramirez and brothers Theodoro Hernandez Sr. and Samuel Hernandez.

Alice C. Carter passed away at the age of 79 in Hollister, Sunday morning. Born in San Mateo County, grew up in Burlingame and had become a long time resident of San Jose. She had been an executive secretary for several companies in Santa Clara County for many years.
