Edith A. Cabaniss April 5, 1925 – March 27, 2013

Barbara J. Bisceglia

Barbara Bisceglia passed away at Mabie Skilled Nursing Southside Sunday evening, Feb. 21st, 2010, after a courageous battle against cancer. Barbara was a native of Madera, was raised in Livingston, and has been a resident of San Benito County since 1964. As a homemaker for 45 years and the Office Manager for Joe's Plumbing for 22 years, Barbara demonstrated a sincere love and interest for her family and their activities. "What she enjoyed the most was spending time with family and grandchildren," said her husband Joseph. In addition she enjoyed the out-of-doors with her husband camping, hunting, fishing, traveling in their recreational vehicle; crocheting, embroidery, cooking and baking. Joe and Barbara enjoyed going to Immaculate Conception Church each week to work within the grounds until her health would not permit her to continue.

Glenn C. Defebaugh

Passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 after a short illness. Husband of Marie G. Defebaugh of Gilroy. Father of Barbara Chaffee(Ron) of Gilroy, Glenn C. Defebaugh Jr.(Lynette) of Virginia City, NV. Preceeded in death by his first wife, Joann and his son, Michael. Step-father of Dennis Spence(Kathleen) of Washington. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A native of Iota, LA.

Rose M. Orona

Rose M. Orona left us on 11/21/2010. She was loved by many including her mother, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and her many friends at Gavilan College.

Inez E. Pruzzo

On Sunday, January 3, 2010, shortly after midnight, Inez Emily Pruzzo left us. She was 76 years old. Inez was born to Silvio and Eleanor Poletti in Gilroy, CA. on May 1, 1933. While growing up, she sadly lost her father at an early age and grew up in a single parent home with help from her grandfather and her aunts. As she grew, she flourished and found that she had a natural talent for singing. In high school, she was in choir and traveled to local high school competitions. When she was 18 years old, she was featured on a San Jose radio station amateur show, where she sang live over the air. She received a music scholarship, but due to family needs, was not able to go on.

Inez Yuste Martin July 23, 1913 – December 21, 2013

Visitation, Friday Dec. 27th at the Grunnagle Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Dec. 28th at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Tommy Martin Scholarship Fund c/o the mortuary.

Martina Geraldine Losada

Martina Losada passed away at 91 on Saturday afternoon at her home in Milpitas. She was born in Spain and came to San Benito County at the age of one. She attended Sacred Heart School and Serra Catholic High School. She resided here until she married her late husband, John Losada at the age of 22 and she then lived may years in Los Gatos.

Cornelia E. Miramontes

Carolina was preceded in death by her husband Adolfo, and is survived by her 5 sons, 2 daughters, 19 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is the mother of Father Francisco at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Jean Dorothy Ghent November 4, 1932 – February 1, 2016
