Age 98, born in Indiana, lived in Los Angeles and Gilroy, she passed away of congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by husband William Ervin Lynch, and daughter Nancy Jane Sanderson, she is survived by sons Robert and Thomas Lynch, and daughters Susan Kruse and Judith Lamare, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She will also be missed by all her friends from Bridge and Bingo at the Gilroy Senior Center. Service Tuesday August 17, 2010, at 2:00 P.M., Gilroy Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to your favorite charity or the Gilroy Senior Center.

Hollister resident John Fortino passed away Monday, April 5th, 2010, at Mabie Skilled Nursing Center in Hollister at the age of 93 years. John was a native of Capaldo, KS. After serving with the U.S. Air force, John moved from Kansas to Hollister in 1951 where he established himself as a self employed painting contractor in addition to being an original owner from 1968 until 1977 of the Villa Pace Restaurant with his late brothers Eugene and Chester Fortino. John was a member of the Hollister Lodge No. 1436, B.P.O.E.; the S.I.R.S.; Bolado Park Golf Men's Club; the I.C.F.; Golden Years Travel Club, and the Bay Area Painters and Tapers Union District Council No. 16 of San Jose. John enjoyed golfing, card playing especially Pedro and Poker, dancing, cooking, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. John was the spouse of the late Marie Fortino who passed away on December 22, 2001.

Private cremation with private family inurnment.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at Community Christian, 305 W. Main Ave., Morgan Hill on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at 11:30 A.M. Prior to the service friends and family are invited to a visitation starting at 10:30 A.M. Interment immediately following at San Joaquin National Cemetery.

Robert Hopkins passed away in Maui, HI at the age of 52. He and his wife, Kathy, honeymooned in Maui and returned to celebrate their 28th wedding anniversary in a place they loved. Robert was born in San Jose, CA and had lived in Hollister since 1989. His two children were his pride and joy. Robert loved fishing, camping and working in his garden, not to mention the game of baseball. He loved everything about the sport and was involved in every aspect, from following the Atlanta Braves, serving on the Board of Hollister Little League and Babe Ruth, coaching at every level along the way, and mostly being an avid fan at his son's games.

Michael Robert King beloved son of Dolores and the late Frank King, Jr. Brother to Tim King (Pamela), Tom King (Suzie) and the late Stephen King. Uncle to Stephen, Amanda, Deborah and Tami King, Bryce and Caleb Galvan. Nephew to Frank (Christine) Postigo, Dolly Postigo, the late Joe and Anne Postigo, the late Pedro and Placedas Cernadas, Edwin and the late Detta King. Family member to Jo Ann (Jerry) Vail, Robert (Susan) , Janet, Richard (Elaine), Joey, Frankie and Larry (Kathy) Postigo, Kim Russell, Albert (Balbina) Cernadas, Emily (the late Emilio) Vicente, Kerry, Larry and Julie King, Judy (the Late Frank) Medina, Annie (the late, Peter) Paura, Carmen (the late Tony) Medina, the late Webb and Manuela Clayton and also survived by many additonal family members.

Mary Dolores Sanches, 89, born in San Jose and a Gilroy resident for 80 years, passed away June 9, 2012. She is survived by her nieces Yvonne and Deborah Sanches and many cousins. Daughter of Mary and Antone Sanches (deceased) and sister of David Sanches (deceased).

Burdick, Wilbert Bert, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2012. He was the beloved husband of W. Radell Burdick for 71 years. Loving father of Evelyn Bonin of Tracy, CA, Timothy Burdick of Apache Junction, AZ and Michael Burdick of Morgan Hill, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Cecelia Denise Williams passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, in Spring Branch, TX at the age of 48.

With his wife of 70 years and his loving family at his bedside, Lyle Siverson peacefully passed away in his Gilroy home in the early afternoon of May 22, 2010.
