Jennifer Garcia died in San Jose at the age of 26. Arrangements are pending at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister.
Helen Idah Moore
Helen Idah Moore was born in Biggs, CA on October 4, 1920. She passed away on March 28, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. Helen graduated from Napa High School at the age of 16. She was accepted to the University of California in Berkeley but her dad felt she was too young to attend, so she went to Business College in Napa, CA and became a legal secretary at the age of 17. Helen married Sam Moore on October 13th, 1939 in Napa, CA and in the summer of 1947, they moved their young family to Morgan Hill. Helen worked as a bookkeeper for Roberts Department Store, Edes Hardware, Squeri Brothers Hardware, and local dentist, Dr. Day. An amazing cook, she worked at the Palm Grill, the Jolly Inn, and Shipley's Restaurant. The Moores and good friend, Alma Schultz, owned the Cozy Cafe; a truck stop about four miles north of town, where Helen made her famous homemade pies. Sam and Helen were members of Morgan Hill First Assembly of God Church for many years before moving to Washington. Helen is survived by her husband of 69 years, Sam Moore of Tacoma, WA, son Rod Moore of Federal Way, WA, daughter Sue Carlton of Tacoma, WA, son Ken Moore of Lebanon, OR, nine grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Polly Ann Boyd April 28, 1931 – February 24, 2017
Polly was born in Newton, Illinois on April 28th, 1931. She was married to Loren Boyd at the age of 16 on December 12, 1947. They moved their small family to Gilroy in 1965. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Loren Boyd. Polly and Loren enjoyed traveling the U.S. in their motorhome. They were avid fishermen and always had a fish tale to tell.
Thomas Alan Angell
Thomas Alan Angell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 5 on April 5, 2010, in Santa Clara, CA. He was the beloved son of Andrew and Heather Angell; loving twin brother of Marcus Angell; cherished grandson of Bonnie and Fred Angell and Frank and Noemi Hinchberger.

EMMA M. MORETTI 91, passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at Santa Teresa Hospital, San Jose. Wife of the late Pete Moretti (1994). Sister of Eleanor Roberts of Gilroy. Aunt of Lorayne (Craig) Simmons of Gilroy, Doris (Matt) Fanoe of Marietta, GA and Barbara Rocchi. Great-aunt of Nick Rocchi, Kevin, Gregory and Andrew Fanoe, Adrea and Corin Simmons. Great-great aunt of Sofia and Joseph Fanoe. Cousin of Jacque Chesnut, Kim Chesnut Perry, Alli and Ricky Perry. Also survived by many dear friends.
Manuel A. Souza (GRAMPS)
Manuel A. Souza "GRAMPS" passed away peacefully on October 14, 2009, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bertie, his sons Alfred with wife Betti and Manuel with wife Cindy, his daughters Mona with husband Dennis and Quincy with husband Jim, his 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Gramps will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S.
