Marcy G. Rivera passed away in Hollister. She was born in Calexico, CA ,and lived in Hollister since 1962 coming here from Fresno. She worked at Casa de Fruta for over 40 years and liked going to the casinos, liked the outdoors and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex, who died in 2001, and is survived by her children; Helen Sanchez of Pleasanton, Victoria Rivera of Gilroy, Jenny Rivera of Hollister, Richard Rivera of Carmel and Manuel Rivera of Hollister, her sisters; Pauline Velez of Kermin and Ruth Valdivia of Kermin and her 10 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons; Alex Rivera Jr. and Joseph Solis and her sisters and brothers that preceded her in death; Petra Castro, Dolores Marquez, Eugene Garcia, Paul Garcia, Tori Garcia, Cruz Garcia and Josie Reyes.

Lucy Hubman passed away September 30, 2007. She was born in Elm Creek, Nebraska. She spent most of her childhood in Boulder, Colorado. After marrying Edward Hubman, who predeceased her, they moved to Stockton, California where they raised their three children. They loved to play golf and spend time in the backyard watching their children and grandchildren play. Lucy spent the last 2 years in Morgan Hill at Pacific Hills Care Facility.

Martin Corona passed away Oct. 10, 2009. A viewing will begin Thurs. Oct. 15, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. followed by a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Funeral Mass will be said 10:00 A.M. Fri. Oct. 16, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, burial 3:00 P.M. Mon. Oct. 19, 2009, at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.

Donald Brooks, born in Chester, PA passed away in El Dorado, CA at the age of 76.

Mr. Moore was born in Wynne, AR He resided in Hollister, CA from 1959 to 1988 when he moved to Riverside, CA.

Modeen will be missed by all who knew and loved her for her courageous spirit and wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her loving grandson, Shane Grider of Australia, her 3 great granddaughters, and her devoted sister, Ruby Fortino of Gilroy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Victoria Henzi passed away on Jan. 3, 2007, in Chico, CA. She was born and raised in Gilroy, CA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Moises & Gregoria Gimenez and husband Walter Henzi.

Burdick, Wilbert Bert, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2012. He was the beloved husband of W. Radell Burdick for 71 years. Loving father of Evelyn Bonin of Tracy, CA, Timothy Burdick of Apache Junction, AZ and Michael Burdick of Morgan Hill, CA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
