Oakwood High School has partnered with gphomestay’s residential program, and is searching for host families in Morgan Hill and Gilroy to help supply temporary homes for its student participants for fall 2016 to spring 2017.
Host families will receive a monthly stipend of $1,300 and have access to ongoing support from local residential coordinators who can help with coordinating meeting the student upon arrival, keeping the host connected with the school community and mediating issues if they arise.
Anyone who lives in Morgan Hill or Gilroy and is interested in making a positive impact on the life of an international high school student may learn more online at gphomestay.com.
Students come with their own insurance and spending money and stay for the academic year. There are also short-term hosting opportunities available.
For more information, contact Sasha at [email protected] or (510) 356-7013.
Applications can be downloaded at gphomestay.com/Application4.html.
