The Hawks picked up their ninth win Tuesday, beating Coast Athletic League rival Kirby, a league runner-up and sectional qualifier in 2011, 58-24 in Santa Cruz.

Oakwood received 15 points from sophomore guard John Angulo and 12 points and 12 rebounds from freshman standout Justin Mortensen. Brett Hall added 12 points and eight rebounds, and juniors Ryan Salamon and Harsh Sikka chipped in points, rebounds and strong defense in one of the Hawks’ biggest wins this season.
