NW Services, a CSIET-approved program, is looking for host families for high school students from Mongolia and Germany and other areas for the 2006-2007 school year. The students are 15-18 years old and can begin arriving this month to attend high school in Morgan Hill.

There is no such thing as a typical host family; whether a single parent, retired, a family with children or no children, the experience of hosting an international teen can be a great one for a family.

The students are pre-screened, speak English and look forward to learning about our culture while teaching the host family about their own culture and country. They have medical insurance and their own spending money to cover expenses including clothing, school supplies and entertainment. Host families are not paid but may be able to claim a $50 per month charitable contribution on their income tax.

All these students require is a bed, meals and a caring family to share their 10-month stay in our country.

Anyone interested in hosting a student can call 1-866-846-3977 for more information.
