Norma Lenore Mosso died March 16, 2003, after a lengthy illness.

Mosso was born in Gilroy on Sept. 8, 1928, to Josephine and Peter Fravi (also natives of Gilroy). She was a stay-at-home mom and humanitarian who dedicated her life to her family – her husband, her children, grandchildren and their pets. She will be sorely missed and forever loved. She has left a legacy of love. May perpetual light shine upon her.

Norma is survived by her husband of 52 years, Albert Mosso; children Vernon Mosso of Santa Cruz, Larry Mosso of Hollister, Janis McAfee of Hollister and Ellen Clark of Gilroy; grandchildren Clinton Mosso, Sarah Mosso, Paul Mosso, Ronald McAfee III, Connor Clark and Tara Clark; niece, Karen Sergi (whom Norma considered her daughter); and nephews Ken Sergi and Jim Sergi.

She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Sergi and dear niece Janet Sergi.

Burial was at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park in Gilroy under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
