city-owned facilities, we admit to a bias: We think they should be
city-run. City officials and city employees are accountable to
Morgan Hill taxpayers at regular meetings and at the ballot
box.
As a citizen of Mansfield, Texas, I have experience as does the rest of
the citizens as to this private/public partnership with Big League Dreams.
Beware, there will be alchohol served at these facilities and there will be no
vote allowed by the public. Most meetings will be in closed session and
you won’t know what hit you until it is almost too late. Pay attention now.
