Threat at Sobrato not credible, police say
Authorities determined there was no threat to students and staff at Ann Sobrato High School after a suspicious note was found on campus this morning, according to Morgan Hill Unified School District.
Charter school’s formal petition in Board’s hands
The leaders of Navigator Schools, a charter management organization attempting to launch a third school in Morgan Hill, on Tuesday officially submitted their petition to open a new school to the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board of Education, which could approve a new charter school that would launch in 2014.

Spotlight of the Week: A Day at the Capitol
NORDSTROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL teacher KEN FARRELL'S fourth-grade class went on a field trip May 2 to Sacramento and visited the Railroad Museum, Sutter's Fort, Old Sacramento and the State Capitol. While at the Capitol, the class met Lieutenant Gov. John Garamendi who took time out of his busy schedule and talked to the class about his job. The children really enjoyed the opportunity to meet the Lieutenant Governor.
