Grants Available From Morgan Hill Community Foundation
The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for its Grants Program. The Foundation addresses six focus areas of support within the community: arts and culture, recreation, education and lifelong learning, health and human services, science and technology, environment and agriculture. Priority will be given to local non-profits that focus on high impact projects that cannot be covered by the normal budgets of existing charitable agencies. Grants requested should range between $300 to $1,000. Deadline for grant applications is April 30. Applications can be obtained by e-mailing: mb***@ex****.com, or calling (408) 782-1008. They can also be downloaded from the foundation’s Web site at www.morganhillcommunityfoundation.org/about.htm.
Areas not generally funded by the MHC Foundation’s Grants Program include political campaigns, city-funded projects, private interests, endowment funds, or grants to individuals.
The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is an umbrella organization, which supports efforts to enrich the greater Morgan Hill area. By linking people and resources, the foundation’s goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of those in the community.
